Heritage One Day Surgery

This one day surgery on Staff Road was an absolute nightmare. From the moment you stepped in, the staff is unprofessional and indifferent. Who ever is driving you have to stay in the car outside even if is 90 or -3 degrees ,they don’t want you to leave the parking lot for at least 4 hours. They don’t have a waiting area. Communication between the staff member is non existent one feels like a forgotten number rather than a human in pain. Avoid this s place at all cost. I respect the medical professionals but this is a medical facility not a rundown motel I’ve seen dogs in veterinary clinics treated better than humans here. I feel sorry for any doctor or any patient that have to deal with the staff in this place.

My overall experience today at Heritage One Day Surgery was very good. All personnel were polite and friendly. Explained most everything to me including post procedure instructions. I have one suggestion that would have made it more comfortable. I realize clothing needs to be out of the way for the procedure however I wish I had been warned when I was face down on the table not able to see anything that was going on and suddenly with no warning someone took hold of my slacks and underwear and pulled them down to expose my lower back area. One part of the procedure that the patient needs to be told before it happens. Very uncomfortable to my inner self in an already uncomfortable position.

Poor communication, My wife has 2:30 arrival 3:00 appointment. 4:10 Doors locked, phone call "we are closed". I had to track down a nurse in the hallway to get an update. Little bit of an attitude. "Well we running behind" and basically walk away. Somehow they need to let the people waiting in the parking lot know what's going. I will attempt to talk with someone after this ordeal is over.

This group is so thoroughly professional. I was very impressed with my experience with Heritage One Day Surgery from the beginning of the process; the pre-op, the Spinal procedure itself, the follow-up phone call by the staff nurse who contacted me the same day of my procedure, all the nursing staff who prepped me for surgery and of course Dr. Tiso— my surgeon. Post-op instructions were given to me before my twilight anesthesia, so I would understand them completely and remember them, as well as be clear enough to answer questions if I had any. I was not in more pain during, or after the procedure or once I got home that entire day. I am very happy with my experience and would do it again in a New York second!! I would like to thank all the staff and Dr Tiso for the care they took and the timely manner in which they performed each and every step of the process….flawless— the way one always wishes the to be cared for. The nurses are compassionate and professional, they take extremely good care of you, and Dr. McConn is EXTREMELY skilled at what he does. Ive been there 3 times and had a scary procedure quelled by the empathetic nurses and Doctor. I always made sure to thank them for taking such great care of me. I'm always in and out very timely.

The front desk assistant, nurses and doctors here are awesome! They are very professional and they show everyone they care about their well being. The nurses are very knowledgeable about everything. They also make sure you are very comfortable before going into surgery. Also, the wait time is not long. Everyone here is very friendly.

I was in and out in less than an hour. Then about 6 hours later they called to see how I was doing . Great place. I got shots in my lower back. Not sure if they are working yet. But I'm scared of needles going into my back. They put me so I didn't know anything sleeping is the way to go. Woke up done ready to get dressed and out . Was a great experience. I thank them vary much for taking care of this chicken.

Not putting down any of the professionals in the back that do the procedures... that being said. The reception area and the ladies up front should be ashamed of themselves. While I was there bringing my mother for her procedure I watched and heard them mock and make fun of two different patients that couldn't speak English. They had difficulty with their names and were not professional about it at all. Laughing and mocking them as soon as they left the desk and then bring it back over again like a joke! I feel very offended for these poor patients. Not only are they there to receive treatments for saver pain but your staff causing them mental pain is disgusting!

Very professional people. Very caring and involved with you and your pain issues. They get right to it and start the plan of action. Your involved and informed of all proceeders, tests, and MRI's, x-ray's and such. So far they have lessed my pain and anxieties. It's the place to go if you have acute or prolonged pain.

Wonderful Doctors and nurses. Very careing about me and my condition. Very clean and accommodating. Just wish they had free coffee on for the drivers who have to wait.
