Serving Residents of Hernando Beach, Aripeka and Forrest Glen.

Description

HBVFD is an MSBU which provides Fire Suppression and Emergency services to the residents of Hernando Beach, Forrest Glen and Aripeka.

Our roster maintains 40 volunteer firefighter personnel and an Officer Cadre. Our training program provides FL Firefighter 1 certification, and can continue professional development up to and including Officers and Chief Officers.

For those wishing to answer the call to service, we have something for every one. Volunteers may specialize in a single area, or all.

Operations- First Responders answer to dispatched emergencies and calls for public assistance.

Training- Keeps our Operators up to date and current on training and developing issues.

Administration- Provides business management support services.

Maintenance- Buildings, grounds and vehicle maintenance.



Training is on Tuesday at 6:30 pm and Saturday at 9:00 am
