Hernando County's only online school!
The Hernando eSchool provides two programs for students – a full-time 6-12 virtual school and a part-time 6-12 virtual school. Students must meet the eligibility requirements in accordance with Florida Statute to enroll in the full-time virtual program.
Students in grades 6-12 can take one or more virtual courses through our franchise with Florida Virtual School (FLVS) on a full-time or part-time basis. This program is open to home education, private, charter, public and students new to Hernando County. Highly qualified Hernando County teachers will teach the virtual courses and there will be no waiting list.
There are no costs to students residing in Hernando County for this program.
The mission of Hernando eSchool is to expand access for all Hernando County students to rigorous, relevant curriculum that incorporates the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the 21st century.
