Herrin Dog Park

I was excited to find the park. When I got there the fence was torn up in 2 places so my dogs couldn't run which they really needed. It looked like a truck drove through it. Hope it gets fixed, would love to let my dogs play there.

Great place to let your fur baby run and play. Separated designated areas for small or bigger pets.

This park has something for everyone and pets .fun events also a huge pool,sand volleyball and skate ramps . plenty of jungle gyms .

Didn't go to dog park! Watched T-Ball game The park is very nice.

Super cute! With little fire hydrants, plenty of shade, and picnic tables.

Cute little dog park that is free to go to! Large and small dog areas, clean, well kept, would go back again!

There are two fenced areas, one for larger dogs, one for smaller dogs. I took my puppy there to let him run around in a fenced in area. We went to the larger area. There is an A Frame that's fun to teach your dog to use, makes me wish there were a practice agility course if sorts, or at least just more agility obstacles. The main complaint which has nothing to do with the park itself was that it doesn't seem to get many visitors but that could easily be a timing issue on my part. All in all if you want to take your dog to a dog park near Carbondale this one is perfectly fine.

Went to the Barkpark in Marion on a Saturday and found it is membership only, locked, and no way to get a membership on the weekend...so I drove about 14 minutes to the Herrin dog park. Just as beautiful and well-fenced...and not locked. Thanks, Herrin, for the great spot where visitors to your area can play fetch with our dogs!

Great amount of running space. Bench's to sit on while dogs play and water bowl that all dogs share. The side gates to let in lawn mower is never closed very well so dogs can get out if they want to just check them first if you have an escaper. Some people bring aggressive dogs just check first for your and your dogs safety. Dogs have great time running there is so much room.
