The administration that handles community care needs to look out for Veterans alot better than they do! As a Veteran with Cancer being teated at At Ohio state university, I don't think I could get better care. But as in most cases the VA drops the ball again. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION AND TAKE CARE OF OUR VETERANS!
Probably one of the better hospitals in our area. Veterans have many needs as they’re aging. One can gripe about the parking or a simple lack of understanding, but in the over 40 years I’ve gone there, I think they’re best!
Great care from all the staff. Great doctors. They value you as a veteran.
Huntington West Virginia VAMC will discriminate against you due to your own disabilities, will discriminate against you due to color of your skin, will deny you healthcare, create and maintain hostile environment. They are only concerned about their paychecks not patients. Feckless “leadership” incompetent patient advocates
Very professional, helpful and friendly people who work here at this VA. 10/10 I do recommend this VA hospital.
This place is horrible. Most of the doctors could care less about the veterans and their families. None of the doctors are on the same page with the care for the veteran and most of the time they dont go back and read prior notes and or prior health issues. Most of the time they see the veterans age and condition and more or less pushes them to the side and treat them as less as possible and let them die. I could go on and on about this place!! They truly are a piece of work!!
They do not help homeless veterans like the Columbus VA does!!!
Had to use other VA Medical Facilities in the past, we finally settled down in Catlettsburg KY, this VA Medical Facility is the best one, the staff is friendly, my PCM is great taking time to actually go in depth about my past and present conditions. Getting treated for PTSD and TBI in the Mental Health Dept has been great, the Doctor is very professional and group therapy is awesome. I would and fo recommend this VA Medical Facility to others
Very pleased with care and treatment experience with all the different facilities where I have obtained care. Dr. Somerville covered my most recent routine follow up visit for the Braxton County location and provided very thorough assessment and treatment plan.
It’s the VA, sometimes you get amazing services sometimes you don’t, but over all it’s a great facility and they do there best to try to help all veterans.
