Got a perfect mini van for this summer vacation with my family. I needed to return at a different location due to schedule changes. Dexter was super helpful and helped me change the reservation with no surprise charges. Highly recommend.
Car we received smelled of cigarettes, had trash inside and vehicle handled poorly. The year is 2023 for this review and we got a 2020 VW Tiguan, worst car to rent.
Brooke Wilson, the manager associate. She always has a smile and ready to do the extra mile to please her customers. Several times I get to get her excellent service. She is always accessible for any transaction. Every time that I go there, she greets me like she is family and gets me going right a way. Thanks, Brooke, for your help and, keep the good work, ethics.
Horrible service. Waited over 30 minutes to be helped. Front receptionist lady helped another person meanwhile helping me. Unprofessional service.
I rent a Toyota car. The tire was bald. And they didn't change it . Also the oil is too old, too. The car maintenance light come on. I asked them. They said it's fine. After 3 days, something happened. I got tired pop on the freeway. I called roadside assistance from Hertz. Hertz said that they might be charge me fee on my bill. So I paid by my own and went to the America tire store to ask for a emergency help. It was not cheap , also it toke me all day. Finally, I drove back to Hertz. They gave me the paper that I can go to pepboys to fix the tired problem, and change the oil. They told me they don't have a new car to change to me now. So I went pepboys and waited for 3 hours. Finally, 8PM, pepboys told me the store was too busy today. I have to come back tomorrow. So I drove back to pepboys this morning 1hour from the place I live again. And It is 4PM now. My car is still sit outside. Noone take care of it. I am going to go crazy. I need to work. I don't have any income for 2 days. Just fix their car problem!!! Who can help me!!!!!!! Finally!!! After 6 hours waiting, the car got fixed. Pepboys told me I got lucky. The car has an oil leaking problem and was too low. If I didn't get tire pop, it would be cause a big dangerous. Also the car has the shocks struts problem. I have to come back to check next time.......
Expensive and you'll wait over a week for your deposit back. I'm still waiting.
This review is not a reflection on the employees that work out of the office. This review is about the performance of the car we were given as a rental for the holiday weekend and for the district manager that did not return our email. We rented a 2019 Infiniti QX60 from your Pico Rivera location from Friday September 2nd to Tuesday September 6th. When we first started driving the car, there were no issues. As we're about halfway to our destination for the weekend, we heard grinding coming from the rear driver's side of the car. We were able to see the brake pad almost completely ground down. Not at the recommended minimum of 4mm. At this point, we were too far to return/exchange the vehicle. Driving home Monday, we experienced some of the worst braking. Anytime we tried to stop, the car would grind and make the loudest, roughest noise to catch. At one point, there was smoke coming from the vehicle when we came to a stop. The representative we turned the car back into on Tuesday experienced this as well, when she drove the car back to the lot. This is completely unacceptable. We paid $372.96 to not have to stress about a pre trip tune up on our own cars. Seems as though the car we were given hadn't been serviced before being put in use. No mechanic should've signed off on the vehicle to be put in service. According to your CEO, Hertz cars are supposed to be reliable enough to get travelers to their destinations as safely and responsibly as possible. We do not feel that this last rental lived up to that promise. Genuinely, nothing about this experience inspires any confidence to rent from Hertz again. We do not feel that we got what we paid for, considering our drive took us to the mountains, where brakes are not only expected, but necessary.

Car was good, process is smooth, price is ok but Staff behavior could have been better, specifically the guy who was at the front desk on19th July 2023 12:00PM while I was picking up the vehicle. I find him rude personally.
Love this hertz and I'll definitely be back. Brooke made the rental process quick/easy like less than 10 mins we were in and out. Also thank you to the gentleman that helped us renew and drove us to the body shop under 5 mi radius these guys r good! This location also has more vehicle variety which I like
