Car was given to me almost fully charged and clean on the inside, the Tesla Model 3 was awesome to drive. However, not only was the car extremely dirty on the outside not really a big deal to me but still, takes 5 minutes to do a fast wash, the Tesla had drugs in the front trunk of the car. If I didn’t notice, they could’ve charged me for it. If I was pulled over, who knows what could’ve happened as I was traveling through different states. Even one little piece I could understand, but SEVERAL pieces of drugs. The store cashier offered nothing to me for this issue. I will be following up with corporate and my credit card company. Check your car carefully before renting and I highly recommend taking a video of EVERYTHING before leaving the lot. I’ve rented cars before, this was the worse experience by far. I will take my corporate rentals elsewhere.
Total scam, I was allowed to reserve a full sized car and told when I got to the location that they did not have a vehicle available and I would have to upgrade, total bait and switch. Also cost me over $50 in Uber fare. If they were irresponsible with reservations that should be their problem, not mine. It seems to be a scam really to force people to pay more in other cars, also this type of thing only happens at sites located in certain areas.
The customer service provided fell far below expectations. There were noticeable gaps in the knowledge and proficiency of the representatives. Furthermore, immediately after attending to my call, I was placed on an extended hold for a duration of 15 minutes, without a justifiable cause. Interestingly, it was apparent that my assigned representative had neglected to mute their microphone, resulting in the unintended exposure of their informal conversations and laughter with colleagues, while seemingly disregarding my presence and inquiry.
This was a good Hertz location, with the limited cars and trucks available in Baltimore, this location had an affordable cargo van for rental. The van met my rental needs and drove well. The pickup process was a little slow due to the first vehicle have a lot of scratches found during the inspection and low pressure in the tires, but the drop off was seamless. I recommend this Hertz location.
Do not go here ! This hertz and all hertz are the worse people to rent a car from. They are unprofessional and trade well enough especially at this location ! DON’T GO HERE
Customer service was fine up until the rep had to keep stopping the convo to talk on their company phone . I was highly annoyed and felt that it was very unprofessional. How can u handle a customer and handle phone calls at the same time
We rented a car from here and it smelled like very strong marijuana and nasty cologne. Could barely stand the smell every time we drove it. Once we returned it, they charged us a $150 dollar cleaning fee for a couple crumbs on the back seat and a little bit of dog hair. There was no full disclosure about a cleaning fee if it didn’t come back in “pristine condition”. The only thing stated on the contract is there will only be a cleaning fee if you smoked in the car. Super frustrated and will NEVER use them again and advise no one else to either.
Poor communication when it comes to deposit holds. Also my card was charged for more money than I signed off on, 2 days after I returned the car. NO ONE EVER ANSWERS THE PHONE. The number listed is incorrect, when I got the correct number there’s no option to speak to a person at the store. CHARGED FOR SMOKING WHEN I DID NOOTTTT SMOKE IN THE CAR.
Hertz 1. did not have a single vehicle ready to rent at our appointment time despite us having paid for it in full, asking us to wait hours before a vehicle would be ready. 2. Refused to let us cancel on site, forced us to call a corporate line who lied to us and told us it was cancelled. 3. Would never refund our payment amount. We had to eventually dispute the charge. 4. Still sending us bills 8 months after the face, despite the situation being "escalated" every time we call. For your sanity please don't make the mistake of EVER renting from this company but especially relying on them to have a vehicle at an appointment time.
If I could I would give them 0Stars…This place is dirty and do not care about their customers..The car had bugs in the car smh and when I called they acted like they didn’t care… So I went there to swap the car out only to get something that’s way smaller
