The ONLY reason I can’t give this place five stars is the portion size is so small. Not filling enough. However the food is amazing. The combination of flavors I experienced on a biscuit is beyond explaining. My biscuit included bacon, arugula, and pickled beets which had a great flavor. And you can get amazing jams on the side for 50 cents—well worth it—I definitely recommend the chai jam I tried. This place is doing something totally unique with food. These aren’t biscuits you have eaten before. The bacon is perfect—it’s really crunchy but not burned at all. Nice black and white decor. We got a Ron Swanson card as our order number card! Also the apple juice I got was in a little plastic jug shaped bottle. That was a nice touch. That kind of sums up this place—lots of little nice touches that really make it an experience. So glad we stopped in here before leaving Tampa to travel back home.
Great biscuits! The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful because this was my first visit. I got the cinnamon biscuits and cheddar and chive. Both were amazing! I do wish there was an option to add a little icing drizzle to the cinnamon biscuit because I have a big sweet tooth. I’ll definitely be back for more!
Super cute little shop with a huge selection of unique biscuits and changing selection of daily specials. I tried the guava cheddar biscuits and the biscuits and gravy. My friend got the jam biscuit and something with Mississippi in the name that came with bacon! Everything was delicious. Even the teas were made perfectly!
The food is pretty good but prices are just slightly high. The staff is very pleasant and there is a outside patio in the back that is pet friendly

Hey Giant makes the best biscuits - everything here is insanely delicious. And you can sample a little bit of everything without spending too much money.
Excellent little biscuits. Lots of choices and perfectly cooked. Tried the Chive & Cheddar which had fresh chives, awesome. The Cinnamon had a slight crush on top and tasted like a delish cinnamon roll. Also has a berry jam biscuit with homemade type jam in the middle. Our friends had the guava and cheese and the biscuits and gravy. We were all gushing over how wonderful they tasted! If there's any drawback to Hey Giant, it's the layout of the place. There was some confusion on how to order at first. And the building itself isn't really conducive to a restaurant eating space. So hopefully they make enough money to be able to open up a place with better tables and chairs. All in all it was a quick bite but a delicious one, we will continue to come back here when we visit the Tampa area!
What an amazing little place. I purchased the Bacon Bros biscuits, they come in twos, Cheddar and Chive, and Cinnamon. The bacon had a jam in the center which was sweet and let's face it there is no off season for bacon. The Cinnamon was like a dessert biscuit and the Cheddar and Chive would compliment dinner. These would be great to take as a gift. This is a must try!!!
Went in for biscuits, came back for three days in a row. Must try if you are visiting or even live in the Tampa Bay area. It is in the quite heart of Seminole Heights. Great management and even better biscuits! I highly recommend disregarding the one star reviews left down below. I guess some of us do not know class, good food, and excellent customer service when we come across it.
My girlfriend and I went to Hey Giant! for the first time on Sunday, and we were blown away! We tried a couple of the weekend special biscuits, as well as a variety of the classic, and fancy biscuits. All six varieties that we ordered were delicious! The service is wonderdul! We were beyond satisfied, and will definitely return to try some more amazing biscuits!
