Hi everyone! Welcome to our store...Hey, Sweet Cheeks! Cupcakes and Bakery.

Regular Sweet Cheeks w/ Filling - $35 / dozen. Regular Sweet Cheeks w/ No Filling - $30/dozen.
One flavor per dozen, maximum of three flavors per order.
Custom flavors, fondant decs and booze are available at an additional cost.
Cupcake flavors available....use your imagination. We are a custom bakery so can do just about anything. You're not limited to a specific menu of flavors. Same goes for frostings and fillings. True, we have our limits, but we'll tell you if you've reached it. Don't be shy....just ask.

Cupcake Tastings - We understand you'd like to make sure our product is tasty before you go and order 300 cupcakes and possibly get stuck with a lot of unhappy guests; we get it. We offer tastings, however...they are at the mercy of previous orders and are limited to six cupcakes in two different flavors. Once you start creeping up on wanting 12 cupcakes then we'll have to ask that you actually place an order. We are currently an online-based bakery and unable to sell extra product; all orders are custom baked so please try to understand that we'd like for you to be happy with what you order but we also need to cover our Sweet Cheeks, if you catch our drift. Therefore, we charge a nominal fee of $10 for tastings.

Other Bakery
Other Bakery - You are not confined to only ordering cupcakes from us...we also offer other tasty treats such as cakes, brownies, bars, cookies, cake pops, etc...sky's the limit. Pricing as follows:

Cakes:
First of all: we do not cover cakes in fondant. We decorate using frosting, smaller fondant decorations as accents, sprinkles, edible glitter, edible images, etc. As much as we'd like to be able to do cake artistry and follow in the footsteps of Chef Duff, it's just not our style. We make yummy cakes, and prefer not to cover them in glorified sugar Play-Dough. Fondant decorations and edible images are additional cost; please inquire. We have many different flavors of cake, filling and frost available...favorites include red velvet, dark chocolate, vanilla, and birthday cake (complete with rainbow sprinkles baked inside), but we can do ANY FLAVOR you'd like...just ask. Any cupcake flavor combinations can also be made into a cake. Astound your friends and family! There ARE cake flavors out there other than chocolate and vanilla. Not that there's anything wrong with chocolate or vanilla, if that's what you want...our chocolate and vanilla cakes are scrumdidillyumptious. We offer both cream cheese and buttercream frostings, and either can also be made in most any flavor. We have been known to make swiss buttercream and whipped cream frostings; however, they are nowhere near as stable as the first two....so if it's 90 degrees outside and you're having the party in a tent in the backyard....we suggest the former if you'd prefer your cake not look like the Wicked Witch did after getting hit with a bucket of water. We can fill cake layers will just about anything as well. More frosting, fruit fillings, custard or mousse-type fillings, etc. Frosting filling is included in the cost. Other fillings and adding booze will be additional and cost depends on what it is, so please inquire.

Cake sizes available (we can do up to two tiers): six, eight, nine, ten and twelve-inch, two-layer rounds. We can also do a two-layer 13x9.
A six-inch round will serve twelve: $25
An eight-inch round will serve twenty: $35
A nine-inch round will serve thirty: $45
A ten-inch round will serve forty: $60
A twelve-inch round will serve fifty: $80
A two-layer 13x9 will serve fifty: $75

ABOUT US:

I'd like to share some information with you if you have time...it's a bit long but I thought you might like to know where this all started....and maybe why our store name sounds like we sell adult novelty items.

We are a Mother-Daughter team based out of Joliet, Illinois; we are an online, custom bakery (translate - NO STOREFRONT but working on it), and decided to start baking cupcakes together....it's a bit of a long story. Read on, if you dare...

It was August of 2011, and I was in bed in my blue flannel leopard print jammies… sequestered in the master bedroom while nursing a raging case of Strep. After having been subjected to bad weekend tv shows for two days straight I finally stumbled upon a Food Channel marathon of Cupcake Wars Sunday afternoon. I was intrigued. I fixed myself a nice hot toddy (with an extra shot, for good measure) and watched a few episodes. Around the sixth episode I was feeling no pain and getting annoyed. My mom was a way better baker than any these people. And the decorations? Come on. Get with the program people…you’re making cupcakes for the Rose Bowl, why the heck are you decorating them to look like flower pots? Morons. I started drunk-texting mom to notify her of this atrocity.

My mom, Cam Barnett, has been a baker since before I was born. And her mom before that. She can make things out of flour and sugar I've never even thought of. She's like....a female MacGyver with baking utensils. Give her an egg, a teaspoon of vanilla and a whisk and she can make a car. She's THAT good.

I suggested that, with her 40+ some-odd years of experience and my….um….creative flair…we were SO way above these people. We could totally do this. We could drive a Cupcake Food Truck. Yeah. That would kick ass.

The idea sprouted. Drunk texting at 10pm on a Sunday night while watching Cupcake Wars on the Food Network. Hell of a way to start a business but....

So…here we are today. We have a list of awesome cupcakes. They all have alcohol in them. Some have bacon in them. And they ALL have filling.
These are a few of my favorite things...

ABOUT THE CUPCAKES:

Our cupcakes are made with the good stuff. Real stuff. Full-fat and full-sugar stuff. If you want a fat or sugar-free cupcake, we are not for you. Actually, if you want a fat or sugar-free cupcake you probably shouldn’t be eating cupcakes at all.
That in itself is an atrocity.
We use real butter, fresh eggs, whole milk, cream, sugar…and booze.
Also, I’m sorry but we are not organic. Do you know how much organic stuff costs? We’d like to keep our cupcakes affordable so we use boring old fashioned non-organic ingredients. Seems to be working out ok.
We ARE attempting to create gluten free. We understand folks with allergies would like to indulge in home-baked butter and sugary goodness but are allergic and it’s out of your control. We get that. We’re working on it.
Our cupcakes don't HAVE to have alcohol in them. We just *choose* to put it in there because we like it. But if you have little ones and would like to serve cupcakes that won’t put them in a coma we can do that.
Any of our cupcakes can be made sans booze.

Most of our cupcakes are frosted with a recipe we call “ButterFluff”. This is not a butter cream. It is not a cream cheese. It’s…ButterFluff.
ButterFluff kicks ass and holds its shape really well so it won’t start to melt and run if left out like cream cheese and butter creams do.
It’s like…a super frosting. Could probably use a cape with a big BF in the middle. Yeah. It’s THAT good.
We will continue to frost our Red Velvet and Carrot Cake cupcakes with our (also kick-ass) Cream Cheese frosting, though….if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it, right?

The cupcakes we have currently listed are just an idea of what we can do. This is not our “we-only-do-these-and-nothing-more” menu. Feel free to challenge us. We like challenges. The bacon cupcake was a challenge but we kicked its ass and prevailed.

ABOUT THE NAME:

We wouldn’t have the name if it wasn’t for my wonderful twin pseudo-nephews James Elvis and Dean Prestley Hughes, who attended dinner at Casa Barnett one evening with Carl and I when they were five. Adorable five year old twins that both (obviously) look like they're going to give James Dean a run for his money.
It was time for them to go; I recall asking if I could have a hug.
One of them (not sure which one) looked me straight in the eye and said,
“Sure thing, Sweet Cheeks!”.

Undoubtedly a proud moment for dad David Hughes.

Anyway, we were tossing ideas around and nothing was sounding good. We needed it to be different... something with retro flair. Something snappy, and something people would remember. Nothing worse than a name that's not memorable.
Then it dawned on me...Sweet Cheeks…it was perfect!
Yeah, guys might see the name and think we offer pole dancing lessons but if that’s what it takes to get them interested so be it.
We can always paint a pole on the frosting.

ABOUT THE LOGO:

While tossing around ideas for the logo I came across a cute little cupcake graphic but didn’t really like it. It was too….cute.
We’re not supposed to be cute, we’re bad ass cupcake bakers.
We both have tattoos, for crying out loud. Well…little ones. But I digress.
So I had this cute cupcake but it needed a bit more retro flair to it to match up with the Sweet Cheeks title. Seeing as how my husband is a professional 1950’s musician and sports a 6" pompadour that defies gravity you would think I would have come up with the idea myself but no…my best friend and 12-year swing dancing partner in crime is the one who had the inspiration and for that she gets her own Signature cupcake.
Our cute little cupcake grew a frosting pompadour, I whispered naughty nothings in its ear and voila! A blushing pomp’d out cupcake emerged. Thanks, Kat!

The name fits. The logo fits. End of story. If you've bothered to stick around this far, you must be intriqued. Now order something.
