Did you know that foster children often arrive to a new family with only a few belongings in a bag? Or that they can arrive at any time of the day or night? Foster families accepting new placements often have to scramble to fins the clothing and supplies needed for their foster children. This can be stressful when the family needs to be focused on the children. That's where the HHBC Foster Family Loaner Storeroom comes in! Foster families can contact us when they need items and we will assist them in getting prepared. We are always accepting donations of children's clothes in all sizes, small adult clothing, baby equipment, formula, baby food, and furniture items (such as dressers, twin beds, cribs, pack and plays, and toddler beds). Our storeroom is located at Noah's Ark Self Storage 1280 Cabellas Drive, Buda). To make a donation or borrow items please contact the Hays Hills Baptist Church office (512-295-3132) or Eric or Kelsey Jakubauskas. One of the church staff will meet you at the storage facility or another convenient location. Thank you for your support!
Our mission is to assist foster families in caring for vulnerable children in Hays County, Texas by providing material support and prayer.
Items available depend on donations. In general we can provide: Clothing in all sizes, shoes, baby equipment (formula, bottles, baby food, changing pads, blankets, crib sheets, strollers, cart seats, cribs, pack and plays), and small furniture items (dressers, twin beds, toddler beds).
