On Sunday 8-16-2014 I went to the Palm Bay Rd.N.E #145 location to purchase a dryer. The sales man was Rick. After showing the dryer I wished to purchase he started writing up the paperwork. He did not ask if I wanted delivery or to pick up myself. He did know know about the product when asked questions, he had to call Orlando to see if there are any in stock, he added on hoses without asking if I needed them. He was only interested in making the sale and getting my card run. His customer service skills were terrible. My husband did speak to the Manager on duty, I was so frustrated that I walked out. I have spent several thousand dollars there in the last year and was very disappointed in my visit today. I am very interested in getting the new dryer due to good pricing and the add that is running this week. I even looked at a lap top for grand daughter to go back to school. Also was looking at purchasing the Kindle Fire. Not one to complain. I work in a customer service business and know how to make things right for the customer. I do hope your company is a company that listens to the customer and not just there for the sales. You lost a good sale from me today. I will tell friends and family about my experience today.
We purchased a kitchen appliance package of 4 major appliances. We were told they would be delivered in 2 weeks. Well today 2 weeks after the order was bought and paid for we received the refrigerator and nothing else. inquiry by the driver and later by me the store told us they wouldn't have the other 3 appliances for another 2 weeks. I'm glad we weren't in need of the appliances and we were just updating the kitchen. So the take away is if you have a special order it takes a month the get it not 2 weeks.
I just ordered new kitchen appliances at an awesome price even with upgrades and was so happy with the price and service that I went back the next day to buy a new 65 inch lg 4k for only 999.99!!! The best price around!! I highly recommend asking for Newton Chance!! He is new and was very kind and great to deal with! I will be back soon!
People took good care of me when I bought a basic washer/dryer combo here. The price was steep, but the delivery guys worked hard to get the appliances into my apartment. Even put the door back on when they were done. That's good service.
BEWARE OF TV WARRANTY! Paid $175 for "5 yr.warranty"----you do not deal with the store, rather a phone number/address out of town in the folder. You are sent a box, pack the large TV and take it to be shipped, do without TV till repaired and shipped back to you. "Sucks" -- Best Buy does not treat warranties this way. Next step we'll take is speak with Management....they should offer some "relief" on another purchase!!
My Fiance and I purchased a Klipsch entertainment system, Onkyo Reciever, and a Roku on Black Friday. Our salesman was Jordan West. He answered all of my questions and was not pushy trying to make a sale. Because it was Black Friday they didn't have a majority of the speakers in stock so we were told we would have to come back next week for the 10" sub , two towers, and center channel speaker because they were in their warehouse. I called back next week and was told the warehouse was out and had to wait for Klipsch to ship out more. Rather then get mad and ruin everybody's day it is understandable that this would happen so I said no problem. The salesperson I spoke with on the phone was straight forward and told me it would honestly be a couple weeks. I greatly appreciate someone that is honest and not trying to please me and tell me it might be on the next truck just to be disappointed when it doesn't come in. He said they would call me when it arrived. I wait a week and call anyways because I am somewhat impatient and they had some of the speakers. They tell me they have the two towers and center channel speaker, but it looks like someone accidentally gave my subwoofer to someone else. Honesty again, which normally you would have been told it hasn't come in yet. Rather than get mad I simply say ok no problem and I'm on my way. I call on Saturday, half a week a later and I'm told there is three coming in on Monday's truck late evening. Great! I call Monday after work to confirm before I drive with my Fiance and twins that they have them in stock. Salesman says we have 3, so we drive over. I get to the store and the Manager Nemo like the fish goes to the back and comes out without the sub. I talk to him for a couple minutes as I explain to him the process of my waiting and I called and was assured it was here. I tell him I should have just gotten the 12" 400 watt bigger sub because it has been there since Black Friday. He goes to check in the back one more time, but this time comes out with the 12" sub and apologizes for the inconvenience and says he's going to give me the bigger one instead. I have been in Management for a long time and this is great customer service. It is the holiday season and you should expect hiccups in the process from time to time. They will also hire new people to get full coverage and they will most likely make mistakes, it's part of retail. I have gone to Best Buy for as long as I can remember, but because of Nemo and the helpful, HONEST, and friendly staff I will come here first. I will give great referrals and send more business this way.
Empty promises forget about you after they have sold you products. I bought multiple items from these people with extended warranty on they're recommendation. They outsource this extended warranty with a rinky dink company. Ive been waiting for these people who have hired another company Roth Electronics since 2-24-16 to fix it and still waiting. I would rather have over paid from another company like best buy or lowes home improvement then HHGREGG never never ever again
Managers or who ever they are are just standing by customer service area. I have been waiting for minutes and when another customer came in they priority her and I'm waiting for their representative to finish the other transaction. What kind of managers or workers are you? Just looking on customer and pretend they don't see me or not exist and on top of that the store is DEAD and they can't even ask me what I need. I feel pretty sorry for this company. Managers workers need to be watch BIG TIME
1 star because I cannot give ZERO... This was my first and last time going to this store. My sales person was helpful in my selection of a new refridgerator. She was not very knowledge about the RAC credit requirements. After spending nearly a hour making my selection. I was told I would need to find a cheaper item because you can not spend more then 2000.00 on one item using RAC. This item cost about 2200.00, the salesperson should have said we can lower the price to put you into the right price catorgory but no she said you can not afford this item and you need to find a cheaper item. Now this is the same person who spent the hour with me searching for just the right refridgerator that I wanted. So I said if I cannot have this item then I do not want any. Definitely not a good sales person to tell your customer this. I would have even put more money down to cover the extra cost but was never given the opportunity. Do not shop here. If you do, do not use the lady salesperson with brownish short hair. Absolutely garbage!!
A call to initiate service repair exemplifies the poorest customer service big-box monster retailers could design. New refrigerator/freezers aren't supposed to malfunction within two years but when they do- it takes every effort to remain calm and cool as HH Gregg begrudgingly accesses the costly extended warranty the customer owns! Requiring verification of customer phone number, date of purchase, appliance model and serial numbers four 4 times before activating a service ticket is nothing less than obnoxious. HH Gregg needs to rethink its service appearance if there's any hope of customer retention.
