We took out the pontoon there was so many spiders we couldn’t even sit and enjoy the ride. We were constantly killing spiders and wiping down the boat. Could’ve been cleaned before rental.Service: 1/5
Beautiful, fun, and enchanting place to stay and enjoy what nature has to offer. I'm looking forward to coming back.Rooms: 5/5
Rented a pontoon boat for half a day, real nice timeService: 5/5
Parked in the parking lot and walked out to do some ice fishing. The roads were well plowed and easy walking. Houses are bunched up so folks are fishing close to each other. 7 bucks and can leave in the bin for parking or using their ice road. If the bar is open go in to get pass. Weekends can get busy. They do 4 and 8 hour ice house rental.
Great place to stay, any day of the year! I've stayed in 3 of their cabins, and the only complaint from me is that I couldn't move in! I recommend this place to everyone looking to get out of town, but not have to waste a whole day just on traveling. Good rates, good fishing, and great owners. And to top that off, THREE places to eat, plus fuel up your boat!
Was out boating with the kids and ran out of gas. Called to see if they had some so I wasn’t stranded and have to troll all the way across the lake. Spoke with Tim and he cameout on the lake to pick me up and tow me back for nothing. Very nice people. Made me take drinks and snacks for the kids after we got done filling up! Excellent costumer service! Thanks again Robert
We stayed at one of the back to back cabins. The view was awesome and the amenities were serviceable. It wasn't by any means high class but a very good place to stay for a few days of boating and fishing. The only thing that was kind of annoying was that the stairs were very small so watch your step going up or down. No wifi is available and the television has hardly any channels but who needs that when you are out on the water. I would definately recommend it to anyone looking for a nice weekend fishing trip.
Was exactly what we were looking for. Nothing fancy but a place to eat, sleep, and a place to rent a pontoon and spend the day fishing/swimming. Got a nice walleye and some crappie, no complaints here! Everyone was friendly and helpful and the prices were great.Rooms: 4/5
Lovely place. The cabins are wonderful, you have access to a lake and with permission kayaks and a canoe. The lodge offers food, games, and some amenities such as laundry. You are also able to rent a pontoon no tubing alllowed and no ladder included however. This is not an upscale place, but it is a charming place to stay. Not too far from Duluth either!
I like supporting the resort, local business. This is a nice option on windy days, as the public landing is open to the large part of the lake. There isn't a lot of room for backing in, but it is suffice. The new docks they got a couple of years ago need bumpers! They are metal and scratched my boat, so be extremely careful. Kinda surprised they haven't address this yet. If they did this I'd give them 5 stars.
