Fire Club is set up by firefighters and spouses to raise money and buy supplies needed for the Hickory Corners Fire Department in Michigan.
The Hickory Corners Fire Department was started around 1920, with one truck housed in a one stall garage on Kellogg School Rd. north of the four corners in the Village of Hickory Corners, Michigan. The Fire Department has now evolved to 5 trucks with room to house all of them and is now located on Kellogg School Rd. at the four corners. HCFD runs not only fire calls but medical calls as well. The Fire Club was established to raise money to purchase supplies for the department outside of the townships budget, as the township only has a certain amount of funding to disperse to multiple departments.
