Hickory Park Restaurant

Large restaurant and wait times were quick even though it was a fairly busy night. Service was friendly and food was servwd fast. We had the 1/4 chicken, 6oz sausage, and ribs. The chicken was pretty good. The ribs were slightly warm at best when served but did have a good smoky flavor. The ribs were a bit dry, so that was disappointing. The 6oz sausage was a nice sized portion and the taste was ok. I thoyght that both the baked beans and mashed potatoes were average. The french fries were surprisingly good. Nice atmosphere and all the staff were very friendly. Overall not a bad place for bbq.

This place is great! The portion sizes are very large, and the menu is absolutely huge! They have an ice cream menu as well, with 20-30 options! I really liked the ambiance, the restaurant is housed in a renovated train station and it's really neat looking! There is often a wait here, especially on the weekends, so come early or be prepared to wait. Loved it, will return.

This place was pretty great! The size of the place is the first thing you'll notice. There's a reason for that. Once you walk inside, you could spend a long time looking at all the decorations on the wall. The food was great. We had a great server and all employees we saw, looked like they had the same friendly demeanor. Really wanted to try one of the 1000 slightly exaggerated types of ice cream they offer but goodness with the portions of the food, I couldn't. But I'm not complaining because the food was great!

Amazing BBQ & dessert options...do I need to say more!?!? I had the hickory park special which included BBQ chicken & ribs, with salad and macaroni as the side. The meat fell off the bone. Yum. The best part of the meal was the entire page of ice cream options!

Great food, and great service. I'm super happy we stopped her for lunch. We love the pork tenderloin sandwich with frys and the pb paradise sundae.Food: 5/5

This was our first time here visiting from Minnesota. Restaurant was amazing. Very little wait. Service was excellent and waiter was fantastic and extremely attentive. Food was overall good. Except for my meal. I ordered the BBQ Meal with 4 bone ribs with potato salad and a side salad. The side salad came with very little dressing, the potato salad was fantastic. The pork, beef and chicken and ribs were cool, but not cold nor were they hot like they were just cooked. Other than the lukewarm temperatures of the food, it was delicious. Would definitely recommend the restaurant and would come back, however I’m not sure if I’d order the same meal again after a first impression, especially one that cost $30

Went here at 6pm on a Thursday. The food was good, server was nice, and the food came out fast. The Oreo shake was great.Food: 4/5

I have been coming here my whole life! The food is great, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming fun and very midwestern. Be prepared for a huge meal as the portions are big - save room for dessert!!!Food: 4/5

Very delicious smoked ribs and huge portions. The side salad was quite refreshing too and the ham had a very nice flavour. Would've liked to have tried some of the desserts but we were too full, and so made do with surprisingly tasty phosphate drinks and unsweetened iced tea. Definitely a really good place for a family meal. Kid-friendliness: Decent kids menu
