My husband and I ventured to Hickory, NC to visit the Hickory White showroom to furnish our new home. We were assisted by Mary, who was an absolute gem to our experience. Mary was extremely knowledgeable while sharing the process of custom furniture. Mary provided us with all of the options sharing her experiences and observations with past creations. Mary created such a welcoming, informational and fun environment to allow us to customize all of our furniture for our living room with multiple couches, multiple accent chairs, multiple ottomans, and extra pillows. Mary was even available via phone when we had additional questions or considered making a change to our design. We will definitely be visiting Mary again to gather additional pieces for our home. Thank you, Mary, for such an awesome time!
The furniture designs of the Hickory White line are some of my most favorite. The store at the Hickory Furniture Mart is great as far as selections. It was there where we recently purchased a custom dining table, but less than 1-2 months of gentle use the finish is already chipping off in several places and it scratches very easily, even with extra careful use. When I called the store, Angela seemed very rude and short with me over the phone. I didn't know they were also owned by Good's Home Furnishings, so once I reached the customer service line at Good's they were very helpful. However, I would beware of the quality for the high end price point. In hindsight, I would've rather purchased a table from Vanguard across the way, which we did for other furniture pieces and I have been highly impressed with the durability and quality.
Ordered sofa, love seat and accent chair. It took 6 months to come in. Pillows were not made correctly and they replaced in 2 months. Now, after having furniture for less than a year from light use, all cushions are not holding up. I have to flip them every week and still look like its 10 yrs old. The skirt on the couch and love have never laid straight. I will never buy from this manufacture nor will ever recommend .
Don't recommend. Had problems with the finish on my dining room set brand new out of the box. They sent a repairman twice which did a poor job then tried to scam me by saying i needed to pay him. Hickory White was the one that hired and sent him.. I again have the same issue coming back and have been told they won't do anything about it. People answering the phone were short and rude/blunt.
Buyer Beware: Fabric is not warrantied. Bought a bed in 2013. Within 6 months, the fabric started showing wear along the base. It appears that it may have been stretched too tightly. We worked with the company and someone came out to take photos. Ultimately they refused to fix it. When I submitted a complaint to BBB, their response was that it was related to home environment friction or cleaning agents; we hadn't cleaned the bed fabric as it was new, and the wear spots were along the whole base even where we didn't enter/exit the bed. Structurally the bed seems sound but I would never purchase from them again; there are other companies who will take responsibility for their product.
We love our couch, but as other have stated, the fabric quality is poor. Less than 2 years of use, and it is pilling horribly in some spots.
Terrible company to work with. Poor customer service. Lazy reps. My experience was consistent with rest of the Hickory White reviews here.They operate
Always got time to run stuff two or three different times but never enough time to do it right the first time
High quality furniture. I have two lounge chairs and matching ottoman. Holding up very well!
Good place to work,but only works 4 days a week
