Hicks Park is part of the City of Tulsa Parks Department. The center was originally built in 1976 but was renovated and reopened in 2001. The center has a basketball court, game room, computer lab and a fitness room in addition to multipurpose rooms.
"Hicks Park & Community Center is proud to serve East Tulsa neighborhoods and Tulsans across our community. Our park has sports fields, lighted tennis courts, a playground, picnic shelters, and a walking trail. Inside, our community center facility has a fitness center, full size gym, and classrooms for arts & crafts, dance classes and education programs. We also provide year-around programming that includes fitness classes, arts and crafts, sports leagues, special events; senior programs; and youth day camp."
