The Hicksville Police Department is comprised of eight full time sworn police officers, two sworn part time patrolmen, two sworn auxiliary officers and one civilian office employee. Police services are provided twenty four hours, seven days a week. Patrol area consists of 2,465 square miles and 23.75 miles of streets.
