My name is Heather Dempsey, I have been a cosmetologist for over 20 years providing all cosmetology services: haircuts, colors, styles, facial waxing, facials, manicures, and pedicures. I began my career in Missouri working as a stylist in the military PX and troop shop, cutting the military recruits hair. I moved from there to Pennsylvania for a short while and then headed to Presque Isle, Maine where I worked for JC Penney and was given some great education and experience. When I first moved to the Bangor area I started at Regis in Bangor. Though corporate businesses have their benefits, they also have their downfalls. I decided to find a locally owned salon to work at in Hamden and loved the family-friendly feel that we had with our clients/community. I now work in Hermon at New Age Tanning & Spa and serve as the salon manager to our amazing team of stylists whom I call my family. If you haven't stopped by yet please do!
