Awesome Park, Awesome management Bob and Kate are fantastic to deal with, great people, great Canadians, I absolutely love this place. Its in the middle of God's Country.
Hidden Gem very relaxing quiet friendly people probably the cleanest showers in all Ontario we have stayed at many trailer parks they have out houses scattered throughout the property that are so clean no smell can't say enough about the cleanliness spent two weekends there seen a bear a moose. Nice boat ramp
We decided to put our tent poles away and take the plunge with purchasing a trailer. We came upon this gem 20 plus years ago and we talked about this park, I googled and there was a trailer available. A little bit of a rough start for us as covid was still an issue but once restrictions lifted we were able to meet people and found this park is amazing. Friendly people, wonderful managers Katie & Bob and made some new friends.
We arrived late on a Wednesday evening. The park just finished an event and were sitting around as a group. The owners greeted us after they were closed and got is organized for the night. They even went as far as offering us a hand setting up our trailer. A very friendly place with a boat launch and clean washrooms and showers. We stayed one night while in transit further north. We will probably stay there again in July.
Okay place. The camp is nice and the owners are friendly. We stayed 5 nights on a vacant seasonal site. Cons: The site was backwards with the fire pit to the right side if you back your trailer in, making it difficult and awkward to set up. Site was far from level with deep coarse gravel as the base for most of it. There was a ditch in front of the site that periodically emitted a foul odour. Advertises laundry facilities but when we asked where they were we were told they didn't have any. Later saw seasonal campers doing laundry in the same building as the showers...I guess the laundry facility is only for the seasonal folks? Had to drive 20 minutes away to the nearest Laundromat. They give you a key to the shower / washroom...not sure why we need a key if everyone in the camp is allowed to use them? Just an inconvenience. Dumping station does not have a hose. Had to fill our holding tank and use that to flush out the black & Gray. Told we could set up a tent on our site so our friends could stay with us rather than setting up at the other side of the park in the tenting area...was nice but were told we had to move the tent after one day because it encroached on another site...understandable except they authorized the tent location in the first place. just another inconvenience. Pros: Quiet, scenic, cozy camp. Water is calm and sheltered making it great for canoeing. Fishing is okay...caught some bass and pike. small beach for swimming but set right among the boating docks. fair price for the site at $35 / night.
Awesome people amazing location! Camped several times with a boat and both Bob and Katie are exceptional and kind people! Washrooms and property overall very well kept and everyone is beyond friendly!
This place is amazingly family friendly, very quiet and is more in tune to nature than any other park I've been to!
We have been going for years now, great fishing, great camping experience, and the owners are helpful and happy people. Cant wait go this summer!
Love it ! Our first season and lots of fun . Management couldn't be better .
I just bought a trailor here. Nice private lot and the owners are very friendly.
