Our practice is founded on strong principles of integrity, compassion, and conservative, comprehensive dentistry for patients of all ages. Dr. William Deyerle, a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia, has practiced in the Roanoke Valley for over 40 years and proudly served our country in the United States Air Force as a dentist prior. Dr. James James, also a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia, has been in practice here at Hidden Valley Dentistry since 2006. Both doctors are members of the ADA, VDA, and Roanoke Valley Dental Society. Our practice strives to continue making our community smile even brighter!"

Excellent practice! Beautiful office, easy to access, great location. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, and the doctor's really take the time to make sure every aspect of your dental health is accessed and addressed. They have the latest equipment so your x-rays are fast and painless. The hygienists are careful and thorough. Highly recommend!
Hidden Valley Dentistry have been my dentist and dental hygienists for decades. Dr. Deyerle and the entire staff are impecable in skill, and always go above and beyond regarding practicality and appearance for patients' dental hygiene. It's like visiting family with super powers. Despite moving away from Roanoke, I have traveled over 10,000 miles to keep going to their practice. I am so appreciative of their consistent professionalism and dedication to their craft and patients.
I’ve seen many dentists in my time and both Drs. James and Deyerle are just the best! They excel in competence, knowledge, experience and ‘chair side’ manner. All this together with the excellent friendly staff is why I will continue going to Hidden Valley Dentistry.
This is the best dental practice in the valley, hands down. Staff is amazing and Dr. Deyerle's attention to detail is above and beyond. I have been going to Dr. Deyerle for 46 years. Dr. James is the best at his work also. Very kind and caring dentist that is highly skilled and his attentiveness to detail is unparalleled. Thanks for my movie star smile!
Had a crown put in and Dr. James did a wonderful job. No pain, gentle and kept me informed of each step!

Cannot recommend Dr. James enough. He and his staff are all polite, curious, professional & knowledgeable. I'm one of those who has had very bad experiences with dentistry in the past lazy, unfriendly, unskillful, or just flat out ripping me off, and trust me, I've had a lot. I've never had the best teeth in the world, so dental work and I have been long term companions, whether I like it or not. At the very least, Dr. James is both understanding and accommodating concerning my financial means and oral health needs. He’s very proficient in his work and tries his best to make the experience as comfortable and brief as possible without sacrificing efficiency. I’ve had a lot of work done with Dr. James and still have plenty left to be done. But at the very least, I can feel comfortable in the knowledge that I finally found a good dentist that can do the work quickly, skillfully, and with as little apprehension as possible. Dr. James deserves your business, and you’ll not regret giving it to him. Your dentistry needs are in good hands with him. Believe me.
