Hanford's best public park. Split by a slough that fills after it rains the front half of the park has a large playground for all ages and a separate aquatic play area. Covered picnic areas for holding events with bbqs by the two play areas. Two beach volleyball courts are found in the front section that sit between the play areas and a pond that's home to an array of ducks and geese that locals visit to feed. A beautiful wooden bridge connects to the back section of the park. Rolling hills of grass and trees make for a great place to throw a blanket out and relax. A large covered picnic area and large dog park are also located in this section of Hidden Valley. The park is well kept and bathrooms can be found between the playground and water feature.
A ton of ducks and they love to eat! Whats really cool though is the attached dog park! Check out this awesome new exercise park!!!!!! Looking good.
The Hidden Valley Park is beautiful. It has a picnic area perfect for summer time. It has a great playground for the kids. The best part is the little pond with ducks. The kids have a great time. Lots of trees and space to play different games.
Cool park. The ducks are always there if you wanna distraction go feed em lol there fatasses always ready for some food
We love this park! In addition to several covered areas with picnic tables, there is a playground with swings, a cool bridge over a sometimes wet waterway plus a dog park and lots of grass and trees. The west side of the park has a large pond with ducks and geese. The parking lot is rather small and fills up quickly on the weekends, but there is some street parking on both the north and east sides. Public bathrooms are pretty standard and generally maintained.
The park has some crazy spider webs all over the place, it actually looks very cool!! It will not be there all year so I suggest everyone go check it out. Almost looks like snow. Its pretty amazing.
This is our go-to dog park in Hanford! There’s always a bunch of friendly dogs and the rolling hills in the background work wonders for me since they help me tire out my Belgian Malinois. Bring your own lawn chair as there’s only one bench but plenty of shade and room for dogs to sprint and run around. I tend to spend at least an hour there and I dare to say I haven’t encountered one aggressive dog. There’s a nice trial and duck pond you can walk along with a splash pad. Definitely one of the better parks in the area
It's a stunning park park with tons of green space, a pond with ducks and geese, benches for sitting, a small and large dog park, sand volleyball courts, large and small expansive playgrounds, and restrooms. The downside? Transients and questionable cleanliness of the restrooms.
Took my 6 year old, who is autistic, and he loved it! He got wet, played on the equipment and chased the ducks. Perfect place to take kids!
Beautiful old park nice play ground area little fishing pond ducks and shade hopefully a disc golf course asap
