8/7/2021 3:00 Called HP FD because darn alarm continued to beep after being deactivated. I kept hearing 4 beeps, and after checking with Google, the 4 count indicates carbon monoxide. Concerned about this, I called and explained the situation. I have no gas appliances, but hey, weird things happen and you just never know. An incredibly handsome crew came out , and checked. No readings of carbon monoxide. It was actually 5 beeps, indicating the alarm came to the end if its life and needs replacement. I greatly appreciate the prompt response to my call. Thank you so much.
Took a five yr by today & rhe crew was the normal friendly firefighters that I always experience. When I worked w/ GCEMS I loved my shifts in HP b/c I knew the kind of help, service, & friendliness I would recieve. My brothers @ HPFD are always top notch.
I called them about my gas stove that i couldnt turn off and they told me as long as the flame was burning i was ok. The only way they would help me was the flame would have to go out and my apt fill up with gas. They wouldnt even come out. So its safe to say that elm st fire dept is not interested in preventing fire but are more into promoting fires. H opp e all yall burn when its ur turn.
Love living in High Point and love my fellow firefighters in High Point. Horneytown Fire Department
