Very clean. Don’t forget to bring a lock not every lock fits, sunblock, water, hat and towel. Weird schedule - closes at 3 reopens at 4pm. Amazing for the hot day. Enjoy
Super fun and super cold on a hot day pool and fountain play area. Kids had a blast, and it's big enough for some real lap swimming. The recent renovation is colorful, clean, and a true delight. Crowd was happy and well-behaved. Gorgeous view of Highbridge tower of course!
I’ve been going here for the last 16 years because it’s the only large pool I know with a 10 feet …..every year I see they be doing minor upgrades that is really not needed ….but the one thing they still haven’t fix that is long over due is the sharp rocky concrete surface around the edge of the pool …they should add a layer of cement on those sharp pointy rocks . I got cut a few times already.
The renovations this year are great - there is now a fun splash pad area with outdoor games including a sand box, large "connect 4", large chess, and water features. The pool itself was also clean and well maintained when I went recently.
This place isn’t like it used to be. It’s gotten even more ghetto with the younger generation. You can barely enjoy yourself. There’s a lifeguard shortage. You cant bring any type of floating devices to help your kid. Unless it’s built in. They have you sit on one side. And only open less than half of the pool because of the shortage. The staff can be rude and mean. Def need an attitude adjustment or just quit!!
I used to love going here as a kid but today I went thru the worse pool experience ever I understand all the of the rules of all public pools my wife was thrown out for having her phone according to pool rules there are no phone aloud on pool deck granted my issue with the rule of no phones on deck should apply for everyone life guards on there phones while on duty which would distract them saving live an doing there job adequately This rule is set mainly to stop child exploitation but how do we know that these employees are not taking pictures or videos of people that visit this pool everyday I file a complaint with the parks department an for the sergeant that was on duty on the pool deck conducted her self very poorly an unprofessional me an my wife will be filing a lawsuit against the parks dept
Great pool, staff is nice , and the sprinkler area is so cool! ….sand box, games and lounge chairs. It’s The only public pool worth visiting in the city.
It was fun the only thing is that the capacity of people is 89 and u have to get a wrist band to wait untill the next section at 4 and also once u come back with the wrist band u can skip the line but it's not fair tht there's so much people waiting to get skipped by other people and the pool would end up being full again and also the water is dirty and only a quarter of the pool is open half of the time and u get no space to swim in and also the staff is racist on the boys entrance and u can't get in without a lock even if the person who ur with has a lock and goes in before u,they still won't let u in,but after all it's a good pool/would probably recommend
For being a public pool they're pretty clean. I love how they remodeled the whole area and it's very inviting to everyone. I always tend to go during the first shift from 11am-3pm. It's not crowded and your ability to enjoy yourself and relax.
They didn’t have enough lifeguards and the capacity is at 25%. We went there 1h prior the closure and we were unable to get in.
