An non-profit organization and art gallery in a beautiful 1893 Victorian home with stunning and inspiring gardens in Weaverville's historic district.
The Highland Art Center is dedicated to the education and promotion of local artists and artisans by presenting a new show each month in the Main and East Galleries. Throughout the remainder of the gallery rooms, there is a large collection of members’ art on display and available for purchase. Some of the original items you will find include paintings, jewelry, ceramics, woodworking, sculpture, framed photos, fiber art, mixed media, cards, prints and much more. We also offer art studio space for rent and manage the beautiful Highland Meadow (also available for rent) next door.
The Highland Art Center was founded in 1968 by Gilman & Lucille Snyder with the goal of encouraging and nurturing the expression of creative talent in beautiful Trinity County and surrounding areas.
