We have cool, unique gifts, and a great selection of containers and pots. We have mulches and fertilizers and all of your hard goods, and will load you up here, or deliver them to you. We have all the tools you may need for the garden not to mention we carry Stihl and Honda equipment.Stop in, and you'll see why Highland Gardens has been so successful and loved for 70 years now! What an amazing place! I promise you, if you're like me and didn't know of this place you'll be hooked. The customer service here is outstanding, which is rare these days. It doesn't matter if you bump into Robert, the owner, or Gabby, an employee, you'll be treated the same with appreciation as a customer and given all the information you'll need for your project. Their inventory is vast and of great quality. I needed 22 trees, but like most items lately they only had 18 and wasn't sure when they would get more. Well they went out of their way and personally got me 4 before the end of business the very next day. Oh, and they delivered 18 the day I bought them and 4the next day, which I absolutely wasn't expecting. I should also mention that I've only been there once, 12MAY22, and was that impressed I had to write this review. Keep it up Highland Gardens!
My husband and I traveled from over 2 hours. Originally we were in the area and thought we'd stop at a couple garden centers because we enjoy looking. When we saw the trees, we had to get a couple! I've been to many garden centers, and I have never seen such healthy plants! The flowering plants were even still in bloom, which at this time most places the flowers are dried up. Since we originally were in a small car we had to go back for the trees, but the traveling was well worth it in my opinion - the plants were beautiful and healthy, and the staff was so incredibly friendly. Robert was very knowledgeable and helpful! The prices are a bit higher than what I've seen, but the health of the plants was worth it. There's also a good variety, which I would assume would be even better in spring we went just before fall. We will definitely be back. We purchased a redpointe maple and a dawn redwood. I wish I could get a better photo of the beautiful red hue of the maple, but it was too sunny. Thank you Robert and the team! The trees traveled well, and we will be returning in the future. :
This place is BEAUTIFUL. I loved exploring every inch of this place. Every plant you could imagine, and many you couldn't! Best part: super friendly knowledgeable staff who helped me find what I was looking for. They knew their stuff, and we're happy to help! I'll come back again. Thanks, y'all!
Great service! The staff was very welcoming! The store was clean and organized. There was a nice selection of house plants and supplies! And I felt the prices were reasonable. I will be back.
Helpful & friendly staff. ..I've shopped @ HG for plants to chainsaw blades and the staff have been knowledgeable on the products....love being around the beautiful plants...I have many wishlist items at th his store...including a new Honda lawnmower!
This was like a labyrinth of incredible finds and the most beautiful plants - everyone was so friendly, the selection and variety are unlike anything I’ve seen. This is my new happy place, you won’t be disappointed!
Came here on 2/21/23 for the first time, the store had great house plants which was the purpose of my visits. Great variety of products for the hobby. How ever I felt like less attention was giving to me because of my race. Help was not offered till the end of my visit, after I had already purchased my items. Then at check out, customer ahead of me was offered to join memberships for points and newsletters etc. I was not offered anything I had to ask if I can enroll. I don’t think it will be my last visit since my wife is in love with plants. This is something that should be brought to ownership attention.
Most extensive selection of dogwoods I've seen yet. Place is fantastic. Other local nurseries do not compare to this establishment. Will def be returning.

I decided to treat my yard and check this place out. I bought 2 cone flowers, a shrub, a thistle supposedly non-invasive or something close to that and 2 milkweed plants! I was very excited to find the thistle and the milkweed. After 2 months, I'm still in love with those 2! One of my milkweed plants brought in caterpillars that will soon be monarchs! I didn't realize that milkweed had its own pest aphid which I have to check for and remove regularly, but that's a small price to pay for these amazing plants. Pictures are if the thistle and monarch caterpillar on my milkweed plant!
