First and foremost my mother was pleased with this place so it automatically gets five stars in my book. The staff was very friendly upon my parents and I entering. I Love how spacious the place is. We were sat at a booth for the three of us and it was awesome. We each had ample room and did not have to squeeze in and feel boxed in. I love how open the place is and how much room there was. I can not say enough how cool that is. I ordered their lamb burger and it was delicious!!! I can be wordy about it but simply enough it was delicious!!! My parents got ribs for two and with their salad and that was delicious. My parents were pleased so I was happy. The salad was fresh and that counts for a lot!!! Their bread sticks are phenomenal. I could live off that every morning if I had to!!! Last but definitely not least is the service. From when we entered till when we left, my mother felt respected and her needs were attended to. She commented on how great the service was and how she really liked that we went there to eat. It was our first time there. Our servers name was Megan. She did an absolutely phenomenal job in taking care of us. She made my mother's experience worthwhile and I cannot express how grateful I am for that. Five Stars!!!
A family owned and operated restaurant that seems to have been a main staple going back to 1976. Family in the area love this place and whenever we are in the area we always make a visit. I’ve heard stories about the old building and how everyone loved the classic cozy feel it had but then new building is still, while being very modern well built and inviting while still being very open and spacious. The food is scratch made and everything we’ve tried on the menu has been great. From the chicken parm, chicken piccata, pasta dishes, all the soups, or in the last visit we tried the panko crusted feta with honey lemon, it was amazing. The bread sticks are a staple and this place is a must.
We pass this place on the way to a thrift store we visit frequently and it's always packed, so we decided to finally give it a go. My fiance had chicken parm and I had the whitefish. Both over $20. He liked his food and mine was okay but I thought my dish came with mixed veggies, instead I got mashed parsnips? And for $24 I didn't get very much food. I was at least hoping I'd get a good amount of traditional mashed potatoes but they weren't normal mashed potatoes, it was a small amount of smoked and seasoned potatoes squirted out of a frosting tube.
Waited a little over 15 mins as we were told by the hosts. They were very friendly and smiling. Our server was Kate. I think she was fairly new but she did a great job. She was prompt and answered all of our questions. Food is what I expected for the price. Very satisfied!!
We live in Hartland and we have two go-to places and Highland house is one of them. Not only is all of their food excellent but they are a great option for Gluten free dishes. Our daughter was recently diagnose with Celiac disease. The breadsticks I think are the best in this area. I finally got the Roscoe burger OMG. I cannot explain how good it was you will just have try it. My wife said their Greek salad is her favorite. Go there you won’t regret. We are very that Bar None has closed please bring it back.
Food was excellent we had chicken and ribs our server was Pierce he was very nice bread sticks were so goodFood: 5/5
Really enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere at the Highland house. There were six of us and we enjoyed all of the dishes. The lasagna was amazing with lots of cheese and came with fresh bread sticks and a salad. The fish and chips had nice thick pieces of fish with good fries. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The food came out quickly. The restaurant had big windows that made it bright and cheery. The restaurant must be new or renovated recently because it was really nice. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will be back.
The service is very professional which is a relief. Half the time we go here just because were tired of terrible service everywhere else in town. For the very nice atmosphere, the prices are relatively fair, though I'd say they've gone up in 2022. I highly recommend the Cedar Planked Whitefish. It is the best fish dish anywhere around. Love the new building. So nice and open yet it seems to remain cozy. 10/10. Love it.
The food was delicious and service was good. Clean restaurant easy access onto the road. Very good cocktails!
It was our first time here. We will be back. Get the bread sticks; they were so good. Everything we ordered was good.
