Went to check out open Pickleball. Players were helpful to each other & most there just for fun & exercise!
Fun times playing volleyball!
This was a great discovery on an impromptu morning with my two year old! The playground is perfectly suited for a range of ages and the open space lets little ones run free with zero danger from City traffic. And the library is adorable! I love that this is a free resource with welcoming staff and well maintained grounds. Highly recommend!
Great place to bring the kids to burn energy! It looks pretty clean inside. Place really big but always packed on Saturdays and Sundays. I would recommend for children ages 2-8 the older kids tend to not pay attention to the little ones so parents like me that don't want my 2 year old to get ran down tend to just stick really close to little one while he runs around having fun . All in all nice place and it's $7 bucks per kid and free for adults.
One of my preferred Library/Community centers in St Paul. All the natural light make this the ideal place to study and browse books. And I think they have a pretty decent children's section as well. One thing to keep in mind tho, is when you arrive the entrance to the parking lot if away from the building not near it, and the parking lot is a bit smaller then expected. So you may find yourself doing a loop around the corner if it is your first time here or if you only visit infrequently.
I was a huge fan of this spot before the remodel. The library was cozy but well-stocked, the playing fields were quirky but generally well-maintained, and the indoor gym was really unique. Plus, it just looked cool. They nailed the remodel. It feels like it will be a great place for a long time, just like the last version was. Plus, it just looks cool.
Beautiful new building with great services! This is a really nice rec center and library.
Cool place it really surprised me how nice this facility is.
Went to the playground next to it. Our kids enjoyed time spent there.
Great place to have your son’s $170 Nike Air Max shoes ripped off. And when you ask to see the security camera, they discover it wasn’t working. A really great experience. I will never forget this day.
