Excellent facilities for tennis and related sports for both kids and adults. Many courts are available. One court has a backboard for practice, rare among BREC parts. The summer camps are well run and a great introduction to the sport for children; definitely remember water and sudden sunscreen. The nearby playground and park are also excellent.
Great staff! I enjoyed the facilities and had an awesome time using the ball machine.
You have one of the best disc golf courses I've ever played, except for one blemish. Holes 11, 12, and 13 are pitiful. It's like having a super model with a wart in the middle of her forehead. Please remove those baskets and let the wild take back that area. Redesign those holes along the creek on the main course. When you do ill return a star. If not the stars will continue to disappear. You have been warned.
I like this place. Staffs are very friendly!
I legit felt weird walking in. The "members" and some of the staff stared at me as if I was an alien and I stared right back. Just as I was about to walk out, one young man did ask me if he could assist. He was very polite and helpful but there were too many ignorant, close minded, and uncultured aging retired and tired-looking unfriendly people there. I did not return back ever.
Great place to play/practice tennis. Very friendly and welcoming facility. Clean courts, areas and buildings. Lots of green areas to walk and relax also.
Parking is an absolute nightmare on Saturdays for cross country meets. Was told by an EBRSO that parking on the grass was NOT ALLOWED. on AMISS RD. & that he was going to. be writing tickets for cars already parked there, so we to the tennis court to park. On our way out I counted no less than. 25 cars & trucks parked on BOTH sides of AMISS RD & NOT 1 of those vehicles had a "No Parking" ticket. So why were other people allowed to park there after we were told if we did he'd write a ticket ? Why aren't yellow ropes put up to stop the parking there ?
Baton Rouge needs more pickleball courts and these need to be re-surfaced. Staff is always nice.
Nice place to play tennis, play disc golf, play with the kids or take a run. Hills make for a challenging run. The splash center is also a kids favorite.
This store has one of the best selections of discs, used for disc golfing. Highland Road Park, also has a full 18 basket disc golf course.
