I have seen Dr. Carttar consistently for the past 6 or 7 years and have always been impressed by the level of care I receive. Not only does he have an excellent bedside manner but his diagnostic skills are outstanding. Dr. Carttar always takes time to make sure he understands as much about my condition as possible before moving forward with treatment. He has treated me with respect and dignity and I would recommend him to absolutely anyone. I trust him with my life which is exactly what you want in a doctor.
I had been a patient of Dr. Carrter for almost 3 years and I had no issues at all. Once Dr. Carrter retired, it was taken over by Dr. Holland. I saw Dr. Holland back in July and he stated that since I had not taken the vaccine, he could not treat me. I received a FaceTime from Dr. Tarr, a couple of weeks ago. He asked had I been vaccinated. I told him no. He went on to say, he could not treat me. I stated that was fine. Now, I didn’t contact the office nor did I make contact with Dr. Tarr. He FaceTime me. I sent a text stating will you document in my records that you refuse to treat me due to me not being vaccinated. That I would call up front to get records sent to me. After, asking who is this. I told him. He then goes on to be disrespectful and rude. I advised Dr. Tarr, that as a patient I have a right to choose if I wanted to put in my body and that I knew my body better than him. I’m not sure who he thought he was speaking with but I told him I’m not for the shenanigans. Dr. Tarr, tried stating that I couldn’t receive my records. I advised Dr. Tarr, that I had a right to receive my records because I am not a threat to myself or anyone else. Dr. Holland, texts me stating that he advised Dr. Tarr/it was the clinic policy to not see non vaccinated patients. Again, that’s fine and well. I simply asked Dr. Tarr to document facts but he documented that. I received my records 2 weeks later and Dr. Tarr documented that I had called in for a refill on 0.25 Xanax. He tried to make it appear that I I didn’t ask for a refill nor did I contact HillCrest Clinic for anything called in for medication, when in fact I had not. As I continued to read my records, they HillCrest Clinic stated I was a former drinker. I don’t even drink, let alone be a former drinker. I said all this to say, they didn’t like me asking them to document the truth and turned around and tried lying. Be careful with seeing any doctor out this office. Dr. Carrter was the best doctor in the building!!! FYI I have texts to prove all this!
Dr. Carttar is very professional and very caring. He’s very nice , soft spoken and very polite. I felt that he was very genuine and care about me and he knows exactly what he’s doing. The whole staffs are also very nice, they recommend me where to get the med from the prescription, and how to compare the price as well. Definitely recommend this place to everyone , especially the ones that are scared of the doctors like myself.
Dr. Carttar is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and thorough in evaluating my needs as a patient and in focusing relentlessly on meeting or exceeding those needs. He always makes me feel as though I am his only patient, even though I know otherwise. I am fortunate to have access to such excellent care.
Dr. Holland is an awesome doctor and has never steered us wrong. My wife and I both see him and I can’t thank him enough for all he’s done!!! Seems like, he just see’s it as another day at the office but he doesn’t take short cuts. He wants to know exactly what’s going on, when it’s going on and why. In other words he’s very thorough with his diagnosis. I’ve been a patient since 2002 and would never consider a different doctor. The staff and nurses had to have been trained and taught by the best of the best. You’ll never be able to find a better team.
Dr. Holland is excellent and really cares for his patients. I’ll never go anywhere else. Dr. Carttar is also A++, and the office staff and nurses are amazing.
Dr. Carttar has taken care of our family for over 20 years. He is very thorough, but always conscious of his patients’ financial situation. We would not go to anyone else.
Dr.Jay Holland and his staff are wonderful! Dr.Holland takes the time to listen to your concerns, very knowledgeable and will go the extra mile to make sure he helps his patients. The staff are very friendly and will go above and beyond to help you. I have referred family and friends for years and still highly recommend this clinic.
The worst, most sloppily run medical practice I have ever experienced in 68 years. Dr. Carttar stood me up for two different appointments.
Dr. Carttar has been taking care of my family since 1998. He is a very thorough and educated Dr. I will never use anyone else.
