We love Hills Seafood. The freshest seafood you can get around here with good prices. The guys who work there are very helpful as well. Dan always takes care of us. And the hermit crabs are a nice touch.
Food- 5/5 Service- 5/5 Ambiance- 5/5 Drinks- NA Value- 4/5 Hill’s Quality Seafood is a great place to stop in and get some high quality goods to go home and cook. They have a wide selection of seafood items: clams, mussels, shrimp, lobster, flounder, tilapia, salmon, and more. They also have some prepared stuff that you only need to go home and heat/cook like crab cakes, battered fish, etc etc. Everything is delicious and very fresh. I only took one star away from “value”, because you are definitely paying for the higher quality seafood. Their stuff is not cheap, but it is very good.
This is my go to for fish and seafood. I can trust that everything is fresh, the selection is good, and the staff are very helpful with information and recommendations. They usually have recipes printed out for customers to take. They will cut portions or skin fish up on request. We make sure to tip when they take that time . They are the best

Dillon was fantastic for me with his suggestions and customer service when it came to oysters, as this is something I am trying to find my likes/dislikes in. Perfect in his recommendations on what I told him I like. Thank you!
Took my kids to learn about bivalves and get some different things to try. Staff was SO helpful and accommodating to my children. Prices were very good as well. We can't wait for dinner tonight. My 4 year old already ate three of the oysters! We will definitely go back and try more. There's every kind of seafood you could want.

This is, by far, the best seafood market I've ever visited and I've spent 40 + summers on the South Carolina coast. The selection and quality of fish, seafood and salads is amazing. Nearly every fish market I've ever visited smells like fish. Hill's is clean and smells fresh with no fish odor. This is probably the most sanitary fish market I've visited. We purchased 2 lbs of jumbo cooked shrimp and 3 lbs of Norwegian salmon and both were incredible. We also got 4 different salads and they were excellent as well. Highly recommended!!!
Always great, fresh seafood! Had their jumbo lump crabcakes on th grill for Father's day with a NY Strip!!
Have to admit it's been 5+ years since I've been to Hills. Boy I was pleasantly surprised when I decided to venture in to get some oysters and whatever else struck my fancy. First thing that hits you is the smell...there basically isn't any. Hills is clean and all the food I saw looked fresh and well cared for. Really nice selection of what you'd expect to see with a handful of interesting and unusual things. Staff is super helpful. Not overbearing but right there when you need them. Prices were fair. I definitely won't be waiting another five years before I go back. Can't wait to see what they have next week!
