Unfortunately we stayed this past weekend and our experience was horrible. We stayed with 2 children for a tournament. We picked Hilton based on previous experiences being above average. Both days I attempted to take my 9 year old swimming and both days there was a group in the pool area blocking the doors. We paid for breakfast for our player and the breakfast was worse than any continental breakfast we’ve had. We paid $15-$16 ahead of time so he could eat early before games but ended up still having to take him somewhere else. The second day there were fights on our floor, again we were still blocked from the pool by other guests and when sitting outside the second night 11 police cars surrounded the building. People were removed thankful for that and arrested in front of our kids who were playing spike ball in the front courtyard. We had no idea if we were safe or not and had to attempt to shield our children the best we could. Both of our children were terrified to stay but unfortunately we were 4 hours from home. The staff consisted of one female all I could see who absolutely tried her best. After the police arrived the manager came and I could see she tried to comfort the staff member but there was nothing she could do. Hilton needs to do better. The priority should be keeping their staff and guests safe and it clearly seems process’ are not in place to do this. I would not recommend ever staying at this Hilton. Safety: Staff is not able to keep guests safe
This is a very convenient location close to the airport. Service and staff are all very nice. The only reason that I would take 1 star away is that they could keep Gluten Free bread/muffin in their breakfast and be more inclusive of their clients with allergies. I get those at Marriott hotels I have Celiac disease. We did not use the pool so can’t say anything about that.
The night staff, Josh, was rude, unprofessional, and made my children, and I was uncomfortable to be there. There was a maintenance man trying to fix my lock on my room door at midnight without any notice, which made us feel unsafe to even have a good night sleep. I wouldn't go back there to stay at all. However, the morning staff was pleasant and welcoming. Also, the staff that was serving breakfast was very kind, and the breakfast that was served was a variety.
Your money can be valued better elsewhere. Rude staff other than Josh and rooms seem to lack readiness upon arrival. My room was called in the middle of the night that awoke my fiancé and I that our TV was too loud when our tv was not even on. Furthermore, I was told to come down to the desk and get my own towels as well soap despite the room not having any upon arrival like it was on my fault. Also, do not count on laundry room. You just figure with all the money you pay, you have better service here. I recommend the Marriot if you want to stay close to the airport. Rooms: No soap, lack of toilet paper and towels upon arrival.
This was a great choice to be close to the airport! Easy to get to the rental car return. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The pillows were too soft for me The people at the service desk did a great job at check in/out. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. I had the dill pickle fries and Rockslide brownie. Both were quite good! The service at the restaurant was exceptional. Pleasant and helpful. I would use this hotel again.
Night Front Desk staff, Josh R. was rude, unprofessional and just plain old biased. He made what could have been a very happy, pleasant evening with friends hanging out in the hotel lobby end on a very sour note. I hope he receives some training in hotel hospitality and learns how to address hotel guests properly in the future. Rooms: Nice rooms.
Customer service at this hotel was horrible and they were rude as well. So I called the Double Tree by Hilton, they were awesome and polite. What a difference between the two. Update: I spoke directly with the hotel manager who seemed sincere in addressing my concerns and so I may give them a second chance in the future and revise my feedback.
Beds a very comfortable. Everything very clean. The shuttles seem to run on their own schedule. So it's easier just to ask the front desk for direct shuttle transport.Rooms: 4/5
