I did not have high expectations for this hotel from the outside, but I was very impressed. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was really nice. They had a bar, a small restaurant, a pool, a fitness center, a business center and a small shop where you could buy snacks. I will definitely stay their again if I’m in the area.
Best part of the stay was the night clerk. Checked in late, left early and unrested. This was a most disappointing Hilton stay. We are Diamond Hilton Honors members and this in no way meets the Hilton Honors standards. We booked with 3 adults and were assigned a room with only 2 bath towels. This was difficult to accept after the exfoliation from the sandpaper sheets. Additional money saving efforts by this location includes discontinuing the normal cheap free snack for Diamond and Platinum members. Also missing was soap for the shower and free coffee in the lobby at departure. Overall very disappointing. Night clerk on Saturday, December 3rd was the only bright spot of our stay.
Really Good place. I would classify as a 4star, but something very weird happened on my last day there. I had a note on the door to advise not to be bothered, but even though one lady knocked on the door and showed me her cellphone with Google translator opened, where she was asking when would I leave. This at 10 am when the checkout is until 12pm. Besides that weird fact. Everything perfect. Great place to stay and rest.
We recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately our experience was awful! Our rooms were not ready when we arrived and still weren't ready well after 4pm. This posed a big issue, we were there to attend a wedding and needed the rooms to get ready for the event. I was traveling with my handicap parents which made not having their room available even more difficult for them to get prepared for the event. Once we got into the rooms late that night the room was dirty, especially the bathroom. There was no towels in the room and we had to repeatedly ask for some. The workout room was out of order, the ATM was out of order. The staff was not helpful or friendly. We asked to speak to a manger but were told there was non on the property but our comments would be noted! I highly recommend NOT staying at this hotel! I love Hilton but am highly disappointed with this hotel and the care we received.
Love this location, all the amenities and the awesome staff. Book your room early so you can stay in one of the jacuzzi rooms! We come here almost every year for our anniversary and have never been let down!Rooms: 5/5
When calling about room. They quoted one price. Go to pay was 60 more per room and night. Got free breakfast with rooms. 2 kids eat free per room. We had 2 rooms. 4 kids. The waitress used all our vouchers the first morning. Because she didn't know what or how to use the vouchers. And we sure dint know. Well we go to eat next morning and they said we couldn't eat free because vouchers were used. And o well we were out of luck. They were getting rude. Getting loud. I will never stay at a Hilton again. We spent 1500 on 2 rooms for 3 knights. And first night. Got to room at 1 in morning. So I paid 500 for 9 hours. Hilton Garbage.
Stayed here with my fiance and our kid a week ago and the experience was not great to say the least. For starters, we booked a room with two queen-size beds and received a room with a single king-size bed and a pullout couch. When my fiance complained about it, she received a discount on the room. That's the only reason this review gets two stars. Fortunately, our kid could sleep pretty much anywhere, so the pullout couch was fine for the night. But the pillows were like sleeping on sacks of flour and the ice machine on our floor was broken and had been for at least a month. Add to this, the continental breakfast was an additional $7 per person, which is absurd. We definitely did not take them up on that. Overall, this was a disappointing experience. I can't say we'll be inclined to consider this place again when weighing future options for staying in Dayton.
I was in town visiting family and stayed at The Hilton in Beavercreek, Ohio. My room was dirty and the shower barely worked. The toilet ran all night. The heat wasn’t regulating properly in my room. The housekeeping staff is all foreign and can’t communicate with anyone. The one man spoke a little English and said that they don’t ever get paychecks and that he’s leaving soon. He said that this happens a lot and they get away with holding their pay because they can’t find work anywhere else. I felt so bad for him. He helped me get a manager for my issues with my room so I asked to switch rooms and the manager that I dealt with was very rude. She refused to listen and when I spoke to her she got extremely loud and hyper. Her neck turned red and blotchy and she made me feel very uncomfortable. Her name was Ashley. One night I decided to get dinner and drinks so I sat at the bar hoping the stay would get better. The bartender was really nice and she appeared to hate her job. I can see why. The man cooking was very dirty and gave me an uneasy feeling. He was a very large white man and had sores all over his arms. He kept coming out from behind the kitchen. I could tell it was making the bartender uncomfortable. He made feel uncomfortable and other guests. The gun for the soda was disgusting too. Before my food arrived I noticed cockroaches running along the side of the bar. That was it for me. I went to go for a swim but the pool smelled like they don’t know how to regulate the chemicals. The chlorine smell was so strong it made me sick. The ATM doesn’t work, there’s only one ice machine that works in the hotel. The parking lot is dark. They don’t salt the parking lot or sidewalks. There’s no signs to point you in the right direction for the bathroom near the lobby. The place is a disaster. The girl at the front desk that works over night smells like cat pee and BO. I felt like I was staying at a little cracked out motel. The next morning I wanted to eat breakfast but remembered the cockroaches and the continental bar was filthy. There was hair and dirt in the jellies and containers. During my stay, I saw more cockroaches in the bathroom and on the walls. I’ll never stay here again. Rude managers and it’s dirty.
Fast, friendly check. The staff makes you feel welcomed and valued. Nice size room, comfortable furnishing. A great stay. Note: Breakfast service is not complimentary.
We got a room with a Jacuzzi and a separate area of the room and multiple jets were not working. The door was hard to latch. And to get the toilet to flush totally you had to flush it two or three times in a row every time you used it. Staff was fantastic but it needs a little TLC definitely not used to that standard at a Hilton Garden Inn.
