I enjoyed the hotel and the rooms were clean and well appointed. Restaurat and bar are good for weary travelers. When I checked in, I noticed that the tub spout had a steady stream of water but didn't think twice about it. However, in the morning when I went to shower there was no hot water. Barely warm enough to shower but there was hot water in the sink. I'm sure they would have moved me for a warm shower but we just made it quick. All good. Desk staff were really nice at check in and check out.
NOT the usual Hilton Garden Inn experience. We booked a room with the 'romance package' for our wedding night, since this appeared to be the nicest hotel near the airport. Arrived at the hotel and waited over 30 minutes to check in. Finally arrived in room only to realize that romance package wine, etc was not in place. Front desk folks didn't care and wouldn't even give refund the money that we paid for the romance package. On top of all this, rooms were shabby. Would not recommend this hotel.
We hosted a business meeting there with 40 people and 10 sleeping rooms. So convenient to the airport! Extraordinaire manager Emily Ott was so accommodating. The entire staff was focused and caring. The rooms turned out great and the buffet lunch was raved about. Excellent day and excellent hotel!
Had to do a stay over due to delayed flight. Staff was great getting us all checked in. Room was nice and a comfortable bed. The restaurant was supportive with all of us coming in so late. Nancy was a great server/bartender! Great Job!!Rooms: 5/5
We had a meeting there. The team was incredibly accommodating. The meeting room was set up perfectly and the buffet lunch was excellent. Great team! Thank you so much. Will not hesitate to have future meetings there.
If I could give zero stars I would. Went on a 6 day vacation and parked my car here. You’d think I’d be able to have peace of mind considering they stated they have 24/7 security and it’s a fairly busy hotel and I parked right out front. However that wasn’t the case. I came back from my trip only to find that my catalytic converter was stolen! Cut right off my car. When I went in the office all they said was sorry and that it’s happened in the past. Please save yourself a 500-2k charge by not parking here! Lesson learned.
We had a nice stay on our very long layover. Very close to the airport, friendly staff went above and beyond to resolve the mix up in our reservation and were very accommodating, most importantly the room was clean. I would stay again.Rooms: 3/5
I stayed at this hotel for just a few hours overnight to take an early morning flight out of IAH. I also paid to park my car at the hotel while I was gone for a week. While dropping me off to the airport, the shuttle bus driver told me to be sure to call when I arrive so they could send the shuttle to pick me up. I called at 10:10 pm on August 21st and was told by Jose who answered the phone, to go to door 3. I waited15 minutes and called the hotel again. Sasha answered and said the driver came by but did not see me and left. This is while I was there all the time. She said she asked this driver who was now at terminal C to come back to pick me up. Another 15 minutes and no sign of the shuttle. I called back and Sasha said she was sending another shuttle and asked me what I was wearing. Long story short - I waited for 50 minutes and their shuttle never arrived. All the hotels in the area had shuttles come by all the time. The driver of the Sheraton shuttle came by twice and offered to drop me and a few other guest off at this hotel. When we got there, I saw the shuttle neatly parked. When I pointed this out to Sasha, all she could say was "I am so sorry, I am so sorry." I called today to speak to a Manager about my experience and it was guess who? Sasha!! Again, all she could say was "I am so sorry." I'm a Hilton Honors guest and just horrified by this level of service. I will never stay at this hotel again.
DO NOT STAY HERE! I had my catalytic converter stolen off of my vehicle overnight! There was at least 1 other vehicle that had theirs stolen also! I was even parked up front right in front of hotel in "Diamond Member Reserved Parking". The hotel has no cameras and the staff does nothing to ensure vehicle safety while you are in your room. They are also indifferent to your plight as this happens all the time at this location! This is negligence!
We were looking for a place close to where we where we were meeting for a conference, a hotshot trucking conference. I found that many of the booking services online had much better prices than just walking in, which I walked in and tried to negotiate or ask for comparable prices but they were unforgiving, unbending, and frankly rude. Tell me they don't offer any discounts whatever the computer tells them that's what they charge. They were asking $129 but I was able to book online for $88. As someone who uses hotels every week in my business, I have found that many will match or give you AAA or AARP discount, even a CDL discount but not these people. Rooms were okay it was a little dated furnishings and rug seem dirty. However they seemed clean and smelled okay LOL. What I mean by that is they have some nice air freshener. My TV did not work and they did offer to give me another room after we'd already settled in and that is a real bummer. I like to watch the news to see the weather in whatever town I'm in and especially the next morning I like the morning news. We went down and picked a cheap bottle of wine which turned out to be $25 for a $5 bottle of wine but I understand business is business. We were looking down at the pool for my room and the jacuzzi look pretty rank. I don't think anybody uses it, or I hope not. Overall it was a decent hotel. Don't let me be too critical. We would have liked to have found a Embassy Suites or residence Inn but this was in a good location and the best part about it was the restaurant right across the street within walking distance called the hot biscuit. It was amazing and I highly recommend eating there. Bathrooms are small and it did offer refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. They do have a restaurant, bar and you can buy breakfast for $10. I would go across the street and spend your $10 and get a hell of a breakfast for $7.99. Oh before I conclude this review, allow me to vent my frustration and a pet peeve of mine. As a hotel you present yourself as a modern, luxurious, and with all the amenities that the modern traveler requires . However you are mired in the past without the most important of necessities, USB ports and/or charging outlets in the rooms? Not a single one. We live in a digital world and our devices are our tools to keep us connected. You are really doing your guests a disservice by not offering what many others provide for the modern guest.
