The location is perfect. The employees are great. The valet staff is top-notch!!! The room....it was nice, very inviting. However, I have to be completely honest. It was not the cleanest room for what one would expect at a Hilton. The sink and tub did not seem to have been cleaned well. Hairs were in the tub, which was a bit unsettling, and the sink seemed a bit dirty. The refrigerator had items from a previous guest. The air was OFF when I went in. The bellman turned it on as he realized that before I had..kudos to him! I stayed 3 nights, and the room temp never got lower than 77 degrees Fahrenheit, which made it very difficult to sleep. I did mention it to the front desk during the stay and at checkout, though it didn't appear to be a concern. I have stayed here in the past for conferences, I don't know how other's rooms were, but, for the 400+ people staying for this conference, I would think they would want to take more concern. I really am not a very picky person. I think Hilton holds standards and expectations higher than this.
What do you want in a hotel? Good location? Quiet rooms? Comfy beds? This Hilton has all of that. Place was packed and had a convention and i never heard a sound. Front desk was attentive and helpful. Lots of smiles. Natalie, at the breakfast buffet, is so kind and cheerful, which makes a great start to the day!Rooms: 5/5
Asked for a late check out and they were able to accommodate. Thanks for the late check out. Gave us time to swim a little. Ur awesome!! We will definitely be back to this hotel. McCormick and Schmick food was delicious as well!Rooms: 4/5
Diamond Member so a loyal and frequent Hilton guest. Stayed 8/29/23, checked out 8/30/23. Made every effort to resolve my concern at the front desk this morning but was treated like total garbage. I travel frequently and this was probably the worst service experience I've experienced. Resolving my concern would have cost the hotel zero dollars and about 3 minutes time.
Great location, as me and my family had an amazing view from our 18th floor room! Amazing service, the employees at the front desk and the 120 West Bar and Grill were very polite! Good rooms, mine was spacious with a big bed and a similarly sized pull-out couch bed. It also had a very nice bathroom! Many activities nearby the hotel, and a couple inside the hotel, such as a pool and gym! 5/5 overall, thanks for the great stay, Indianapolis! Nearby activities: Many nearby activities and monuments/memorials. These include the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, Obelisk Square, etc. An in-hotel activity that was nice was the pool on the top floor! Very nice. Food & drinks: Not much to say about the food and drinks other than the 120 West Burger was good, it was nice that they had free water, and they had a nice selection of food and drinks in the gift shop.
This hotel is a total class act. It is total old school elegance. The room size is amazing- lovely high ceilings- and my King bed was like a cloud. The bathroom was also huge and even had a vanity mirror that lit up. It was also incredibly quiet which is priceless. I had reserved the room for two nights for the Indy Mini weekend but had to leave a day early and the hotel credited me the second night’s stay when I checked out. I did not at all expect that level of care and customer service. I applaud the staff and their kindness. I will not stay in any other hotel in downtown Indianapolis on any of my future visits. Bravo. I can’t recommend them any more highly. Thank you so much. Rooms: Huge, roomy, clean and welcoming. Amazing King bed.
The staff was very friendly - nice people. I had a nice room. Breakfast in the hotel was good. Lots of choices, but a little pricy. I did expect daily housekeeping service, which I didn't get. The convention center is within a walking distance. There are plenty of great places to eat within a block of the hotel. I'd stay there again.
1st room the A/C wast working. Attempted to call the desk twice and nobody answered. Went back down to the lobby and had to wait in line again to get a different room. They did give us an upgrade at no charge, but that was just more space for the sub-par air conditioning to have to attempt to cool. We set the A/C at 70 at 830pm. When we got back from dinner at 11pm it only was able to get down to 74 which made it very difficult to sleep. At 10am it's at 72.5. No washcloths in bathroom either. Very underwhelmed.
The hotel rooms were great! Very large rooms, comfortable beds, a great breakfast restaurant that opened early. Loved the hotel. Had a pool and a gym as well. McCormick restaurant was also attached. I did not go there, but I heard good things about it as well. Location was a little further then I wanted from the convention center but it was worth the walk because of the rooms. I will definitely return. Gave 4 stars for service because I don't think you should have to ask for the room to be cleaned every day. I know since covid that's the new normal but I think all hotels should go back to the way it was when you did not have to ask for that to happen. Other than that the staff that I had contact with were all great.
I just finished staying here for DCI weekend. The room was nice and the staff are great. At night you can hear the street noise but an audiobook took care of that. If you’re going to have to go back and forth from the stadium, though - this might not be the best choice unless you LOVE walking. Would stay again, tho! Safety: Sounds harsh but there were plenty of homeless in the area. I’m in NYC a lot but Indy’s love to talk to themselves? Never felt unsafe, however. Walkability: Everything you need is within walking distance.
