I started creating hair accessories when my dream of having a little princess of my own to dress up came true. As it turned out my little Abby loved to dress up and accessorize as much as mommy, so of course I had to start creating my own designs to have a matching clip, bow or headband for every outfit and hairstyle and to accommodate her ever changing request... "Mommy I want a clippie with a butterfly", "Mommy make me something with pink hearts" or "Mommy I want something more for bigger girls". As she grew, I used her needs as a guideline to create new products that were age appropriate and comfortable for her daily use. Soon her friends and their mommies started took an interest and thus Hip-Clips was born! I take great pride in designing all my products and only design things that can be worn comfortably and on any occasion.
