This was my first encounter with a "Hiram Police Officer" and not the best. I was pulled over from not wearing my car's seat belt. Correction: Pulled over from "appearing" to not have a car seat belt on. I clearly had it on - I put it on even in my garage before pulling off. Its for my own safety and I understand the value of my life. Yes people may say the fine is $15 - big deal. Its the principle - its easy to pay $15 and keep your mouth shut. I stay too far to 'hop and skip' to court and argue my case - it'll cost me more to take off work and drive from Atlanta to Hiram so the obvious solution is to pay the ticket. I think this is the best money revenue scheme ever. Maybe if I have another encounter or experience with the "Hiram" police department I can raise my stars, but as for now.... a ONE 1 is generous. Thanks for reading. Stay safe and "buckle up" the best you can.
These guys do a fantastic job protecting us. Everytime I see one of these officers they demonstrate all of the qualities that exemplify "justices of the peace". These officers are not out to punish people. Their true desire is to "help" people, because they care. Ask any one of them why they write tickets, or enforce the law. The answer in the hearts of all of them is "just to keep you safe". What would we do without them? We would suffer. We should let them know how much we care about them too. They deserve it.
I have been pulled over by the Hiram police department multiple times for "not" wearing a seatbelt when clearly I was wearing my seatbelt. Also every time I see a Hiram police officer "checking" traffic speed, he is really on his phone not paying attention to speeding traffic. Right now as I speak there is a Hiram police officer on hwy 278 that has been sitting in the same spot for a little over an hour and I have drove past him more than 4 times during this hour and every time he hasn't been paying any attention, he's been on his phone not doing his job
I recently met officer T Allen from this department, at the Recetrac. He did a wonderful job checking on the welfare of my nephew and I. I wanted to recognize him and thank him for the grace that he showed us. Officers like T Allen really do care. He is a fine officer, and a good man.
Wow. Never been in trouble with the law or gotten a ticket I even come from a LEO/military/EMS family, but my God, never seen such rude cops on a power trip. Like it’s not the fact that they’re cops, they’re just not even decent human beings. This place needs to reevaluate who they hire to “protect & serve”. What a joke lol.
Just got harassed by two cops and a sear gent cop. Went to Texas road house and they called the law because I didnot want to pay for soooooory services after one and a hails hours . Within ten minutes after being called three not one or two but three cars showed up. They must eat here free because the only told me I had an attitude, I am sixty seven years old and take medication so yea after the 1 1/2, hours I was a little upset. Then to make matters worse one cop got out of the car and cussed at me I have 4 witnesses, then after they restrained me , theiy told me not to sit down , I guess they thought I was going to run away so I guess in Hiram you can get away with murder because , the police will take at least thirty minutes to get their because they have to Harris an old man at the road houses I would like to know why every cop thinks that it's there way or no way, why can you not refuse to pay for services and try to inter into litigation and come to a settlement what makes the cops word godly. We have rights until the cops take up for their pals.
Sergeant J. Crosson badge 4717 is no joke the best cop I've ever delt with. He's helped us out multiple since we've moved to Hiram and never had any problem. Awesome attitude and very respectful. I wish I could nominate him for some kind of award. Keep up the good work sir.
money machine. laws if they can call it that are only enforced when they can make a buck. they'll arrest you for anything. court is crooked. get found guilty without being allowed to make a defense statement. yes i am a reviewer with an ax to grind but it is all true.
Went here for background and though I could see workers through the window and a big chime rung as I entered they acted as if I didn't exist. I have experienced great customer from small departments but this one just doesn't care. Should have gone to Douglasville PD.
My sister just got a gun pulled on her by a crazy ex boyfriend. She saw an officer and he told her she would have to drive to power springs to file a report.
