Historic Greenville Cemetery is a peaceful oasis hidden behind a mini-mall along the busy commercial artery Central Avenue in mid-Westchester County.
The Cemetery was built in 1842 on land donated by Gilbert Underhill, who also donated the land for the adjoining Greenville Dutch Reformed Church, one of the earliest churches in Westchester. The church, now known as the Greenville Community Church, moved down the road to higher ground in 1958, but the Cemetery is still owned and cared for by the church. We've been working to restore the site, the final resting place for all of the families who first settled here, and we welcome you to visit, learn more, come help out and donate at www.oldgreenvillecemetery.com.
