I rated this Historical Monument 5 stars because our heroes deserve nothing less. This massive graveyard also contains Dixonville Cemetery which I also discovered. Truly a lot of meaningful and interesting History here.

We visited the cemetery today and it was so beautiful, serene and well cared for! There are only two gentlemen who take care of the grounds and it shows that they treat it as a place of honor to our service men and women who are buried there! Special thanks to James who is so knowledgeable and kind!
Honorable and serenity ~Thank you for your services in this country
The director Jasper Edwards and the veterans/staff that support the cemetery are truly amazing. They are helpful, kind and patient. At a time in your life when you need those qualities, they exceeded all expectations on the services provided.
I would like to express my deepest heartfelt appreciation to the entire maintenance crew at Salisbury National Cemetery, and to Tim the Foreman. I had an issue with something concerning my father’s gravesite as well as other veterans who are buried close to him. I placed a call and left a voicemail for Tim. He called me back, told me he would correct the problem, gave me a timeline for when the work would be complete, completed the work within that timeline, then sent me pictures of the completed work. Thank you to all that helped me in this matter.
Mom’s burial is today at 1:00. She will be with dad now. Dad was in the Air Force and flew several fighters. The last being the F-104 Starfighters. Mom was a loving mom and wife. She worked a great deal with the United Methodist Church in Griffin Ga. Everyone she ever New was considered family.
This is a beautiful cemetery with souls from the North and South from the Civil War. Many others after that have been buried here. The monument to the unknown soldiers and individual headstones for those unknown fallen are moving.
