The Historical Glass Museum has a large collection of glassware made in America dating from the 1800s to the present day. The volunteer non-profit, tax-exempt Foundation that runs the museum was founded in 1976 by a group of dedicated glass collectors. After working together for ten years to raise money and obtain glass for display, the Historical Glass Museum opened in 1985.
