The HSKC is the only organization dedicated to keeping the record of all aspects of Kent County history. We offer vibrant opportunities for both visitors and residents through dynamic programming, including annual events, monthly talks, research committees, walking tours, and more! The Genealogy and Local History Library, currently located on the third floor of the Geddes-Piper House, has an incredible collection of regional history sources.
The organization continues to collect oral histories, nurture research and writing, and develop projects and programs that preserve, promote and make accessible the record of our local history.
