We had a lovely time with Carly & our 5 horses! It was my littles dudes 1st time on a horse and “Flip” was the perfect horse! All of the horses were. The trail was beautiful and such a lovely day to be outdoors!
Bess and the staff were awesome. The horses were beautiful and behaved nicely. The trail we went on had amazing views with plenty of photo ops. 10 out of 10 would do it again.
We had an absolutely best time with Sophie guiding us through the forest trails. It was a first for our son. Horses had personalities to match each of us. We will be back… and maybe for the 3hr trip.
Went horseback riding for my birthday. Hadn't been on a ride since I was a little girl. I'm an anxious mess of a human, but the staff helped me feel comfortable and helped settle my nerves before the ride. The guide was great, and told us stories and talked with us. They were all very kind, and funny. The hometowney feeling you experience is why I love Flagstaff so much. You'd have a good time here!!
This was my kids’ ages 12, 8 and 8 first trail ride. Mary and Buck made the experience very fun and safe. The horses were all super sweet as well. Since we were all inexperienced riders, this was very important. If you’re staying in the Flagstaff or Sedona areas, I highly recommend them!
Overall, my friend and I had a great time on the two hour ride today. Chris was an excellent guide and the horses seemed well taken care of. You pretty much show up, sign liability waivers, and go ride. We actually liked this, but some people may be expecting more "rules of the ride" sort of talk. It was very relaxed. We only had a total of four people on our ride which was great, as it was quieter and felt more intimate. The trail we took wasn't overly technical and was perfectly manageable for anyone who hasn't ridden a horse before. My only real complaint was booking. Almost made it 4 stars because of this. It took a few calls to get through for booking, and I ended up leaving a message. I did get a call back within a couple hours, gave my credit card number, was just told to be there 30 mins early, and that was that. As some others have mentioned, some sort of confirmation email or anything would have been nice. Lastly, we were told that the company has been downsizing and will likely be under new management soon.
Buck was totally amazing with Zaydenour 6 year old grandson. Every precaution was taken for this trail ride to be extremely safe. We traveled to Arizona from Asheville, NC and with all the sites and things to do, this by far was our grandsons favorite. If your ever in the area, this is a must do!!! Thank you Buck for making Zayden's experience so memorable.
Chris was an awesome guide! We had an awesome time riding through the snow and seeing walnut canyon! Would definitely do it again.
We went on a one-hour trail ride. Wyatt was our guide. Both he and Meagan were great, as well as the other staff we encountered. I would recommend this trail ride to anyone! We were aged 16 to over 80, and we all had a fun afternoon.
We called and left a detailed voicemail. We sent an inquiry using the “contact us” link on their website. Weeks have past since without any response from the stable. Can’t say I would recommend them to anybody.
