Love this place. Great place to come and get some practice in. The layout of the building itself is perfect for all of the various groups that come in throughout the afternoon. To help with your form, there are even a couple of instructors on site! Pricing is pretty fair. A bit less than $100 gets you monthly access so it's definitely better that what places in LA/Orange county are charging. Ask for Chris when you get there, he's the guy who helped us and really made the experience of signing up and using the facilities smooth.
My son has been going to the hitting zone and working with Bob for awhile now. His pitching, hitting, base running and knowledge about baseball has drastically improved so much that while working with Bob, my son made varsity as a freshman and won a championship Highly recommend your players see Bob for baseball and softball. Best in the valley!
First time visit. Very clean inside with well kept equipment. My 10 y.o. hadn't had a hitting session in 2 years. The attendant that helped us set the machine to a nice slow speed and my son started connecting right away. This was great for his confidence and very appreciated.
Extremely overpriced and you can NEVER get in contact with anyone. No one seems to have the ability to returns calls. Signed my Son up for a 6 month membership and he was able to go twice and they charged me for 7 months. Apparently they want you to drive all the way out there just to get turned away. They don't stick by their hour's posted and close when they want. Don't waste your time or money.
The hitting zone recently started a t ball team since covid began, I have seen the improvement of my child and like the style of coaching by Coach Chris. You can find us there a couple nights a week!
My 10yr son and I went in to try the Hitting Zone again. Was still shocked and disappointed the exorbitant pricing. I don’t know if it’s due extremely high overhead, or maybe the coaches are brought in by The Dodgers or Angels. My family has owned a business on Joni Drive for over 25 years and just retired. The most expensive repair they ever made was the refrigeration. My parents constantly ran their A/C between 74-78, never a swamp cooler. They changed everything energy efficient over 10 years ago. Not to mention over 12 employees and workers comp. So last week I quietly went into The Hitting Zone and watched like I was a parent waiting. I watched for over an hour and a half. I was bewildered to see the private coaching and batting cage machines that can adjusted as if a real pitcher was throwing a gamut of different styles of balls. The inside carpet is worn and the nets look very old or used and could use a little tightening to absorb the balls and stop them properly. Overall, I’m satisfied I spent time there. I could find no reason that the pricing is extremely over priced. I said, okay I’m a single parent on a budget, will this place make my 10yr have more fun out on the field, or make him an All Star player by going one day a week?? After asking coaches in little league, at high schools and local colleges because I’m attending to acquire my second BS major they all agreed to just take him out to the field, since he’s a 2nd year player, so just throw the ball around and work one position every week. Also to stand behind the pitchers fence and throw a couple of buckets of balls. The past year we’ve already been doing that since I’m a former UCLA women’s softball player, catcher and infielder I know a couple of things. But now I’ve found a RMHS graduate that’s willing to show my son things about baseball I never knew. Bottom line, save your money for a couple of brand new great bats and glove depending on position. Your kid will do just fine, if you can set aside practice time, with him or her out on the field. Sincerely, Single parent, minimum wage worker
Overpriced and the pitching machine is no bueno. Maybe a good spot for self-pitching but the far right machine is not accurate. The girl working there was honest and nice.
Great Staff , been taking my son for pitching and hitting lessons for two years .He has improved so much.
The place is great for all hitting practice.
Great staff. Well ran. Thank you.
