Director of Clinical Services: Dr. David Hixson received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the College of California Health Sciences. He has completed post graduate work in the field of Orthopedics, Radiology as well as enzyme nutrition. Dr. Hixson was certified in 2003 by the Loomis Institute of Enzyme Nutrition. Interest in the brain’s role in chronic pain, migraines, sleep and other chronic health conditions brought Dr. Hixson to Neurofeedback and its remarkable results.
Director of Technology: Bryan Hixson is the original founder and innovator of Neurotopia Inc. (the company that provides brain performance technology for the department of defense, the US Olympic Team and many professional sports teams). He successfully led the company as CEO and Chairman from its inception in 2008 till early 2013.
In 2008, Dr. Hixson completed the EEG Institute Clinical Course in Neurofeedback and has integrated this modality into his clinical practice since that time. In early 2011, Neurotopia Inc. decided to focus solely on developing mobile technology to train athletes and contracted with Dr. Hixson to take over their Neurofeedback client’s services. Dr. Hixson now owns and operates the Neurofeedback client services company under the new name Neurotopia Central Coast.
We currently have two brain training centers, one in San Luis Obispo county and our newest facility inside of Elite Fitness in West Lake Village. We believe that training and strengthening the brain is just as important as training the body. The brain drives the body and maximizing your potential requires both the brain and the body to be optimally functioning together.
