This RV park has very limited parking for oversized buses. Other than that, this is a good place to spend a few days. You've got the restaurants and bars of Hochatown with the incredible fishing rivers and lakes nearby. Plenty of state park land to hike or just drive around. Its hilly here, make sure your brakes are in good working order.
Booked online, when I got there I called Francisco, he immediately called me back and guided me to the site. Excellent ! Wi-Fi is fast. The only thing I didn’t find public restroom. Definitely will come back again.
This was a decent RV park. The wifi was quite strong, which is nearly a miracle for an RV park. Why the 3 stars?? The location was ok. But not much to do at it. I intentionally booked the spot farthest from the road to minimize road noise, which helped. But you have to pay extra to secure the location you want and actually chose! There is like 2 sections. The front section are stacked in tight. The back section is more spaced out. They also mix in full timers with nightly, which I was not loving. The pads are kinda rough and uneven. Getting in and out of the back part can be challenging. Finally the septic was actually slightly uphill from the pad. NOT fun to manage! I would probably look for an alternative before coming back, unless wifi was the most important thing… then they got that figured out.
Good price, nice people, good location. Great wifi for an rv park! Also, when we were having an issue with wifi connection, I let them know and then they let us move to a different spot where connection was good.
We absolutely had a wonderful time here! We enjoyed the peace and quiet, for a relaxing Thanksgiving weekend. It is directly across from Beaver's Bend State Park and is located for easy access to many area attractions and restaurants. Thank you for a very enjoyable weekend!
When we come Beavers Bend this is the only place we will park our trailer. I would recommend this place to anyone who has a Rv.
Not the most sightly of places. Camp sites are quite cramped with very little room to yourself. Cable TV channels were horrible quality and did not work while it was raining. The host was a bit weird when I first checked in but seemed to get more friendly with each contact. Location is convenient to access the attractions but I think most people would be happier finding another place. This place is adequate if you are doing a simple overnight stay but if you are here to vacation, I believe you'd be better off elsewhere.
Clean quiet place full rv hook up with cable.
My fiancé and I just bought an RV and this was our first time using it. Jerry was super helpful and friendly when I called about making a reservation. He even met us at the entrance about 8pm and showed us the available sites. We needed some assistance when we were trying to leave and I called Jerry and he came right over to help! The location was close to the state parks and to a lot of local restaurants. There’s even a liquor store at the front of the park owned by the park owners. Since I’ve never camped at any other places before- I can’t make any comparisons but I would definitely plan on going back because Jerry was so accommodating and made us feel right at home!
Great RV park with everything you need for a large fifth wheel! Free wood for our campfire and excellent internet for the kids. Very clean and comfortable with the fire and picnic table. Hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area! Definitely will be back!
