We chose Hoffman Funeral Home for my father’s service. Simply put, they took care of everything. They coordinated full military honors, a live stream, etc… They made a difficult time for the family much easier.

Personal interactions were nice, but service was very unprofessional. We chose Hoffman's mainly because they offered live streaming of the memorial service, since many friends and family are out of state. During the memorial service, the live stream was muted, and even though many called in to alert the staff that there was a problem, they had no idea how to fix the problem and it remained muted. The recorded version is muted also; the service is forever lost! Alao, pictures supplied for memorial page were not posted, and there is even a bad link to the muted memorial service, so that it can't even be seen! The staff even left their "canned" music playing during the live piano playing we hired. The staff had no clue beyond smiling and greeting. A total fail with a most important event in a family's life.

A few years ago my wife and I prepaid our funeral arrangements. After several phone calls we selected Hoffman Funeral Home because of the phone conversations with the other facilties. We both opted for cremations with no frills. Unlike the other calls Hoffman personel gave us exactly what we asked without suggestions and maybe we should.. . Recently my wife passed away and the Hoffman personel stepped up again and gave us additional services I just did not expect. We made a very good selection.

We randomly chose Hoffman Funeral Home for our Father's Service, not knowing that later he would give us a sign that it's where he wanted to go. When you have to deal with an unexpected tragedy everyone wants answers to questions most of us have never had to answer. I'm so glad we chose Hoffman's to help us through this process. Adam and his team were perfect! Adam walked us through everything, from the first meeting. He was patient which can be challenging with our family, compassionate and he was able to blend with our diverse crowd. The day of service was exactly what we imagined when we started the process. It was organized, relaxed and everyone who helped make the service run smoothly, was so supportive and warm welcoming. The music was perfect, the slide show was perfect, the flowers from George's were perfect and the exceptional staff over exceeded my expectations. Thank you Hoffman's for making a sad day perfect! Dad would've been proud.

Adam Shaffer and the staff at Hoffman exceeded our expectations with my father’s funeral services. They handled everything for us. They directed the cars, people and family throughout the day as to where we needed to be. They made it so we didn’t have to think. Adam took a very difficult time in our lives and made it as smooth and stress-free as possible. Adam at HoffmannFuneral Home was the most professional, kind, empathetic and understanding gentleman to our family Ronald M Boyer. My father had passed away in New Jersey and there was several obstacles we had to face. Adam went above and beyond in helping my family to ensure that my father had a respectful and timely burial process including working with Fort Indian town gap. Everything they did was spot on, from the services to helping with all the planning and advising. Adam went out of his way to drop flowers off at my moms, to holding doors, to offer drinks, tissues, reassurance etc My family could not have picked a better funeral home. It is comforting to know that when your dealing with grief and loss that there are wonderful people and companies still out there!! Many thanks and love from the Boyer family

The staff at Hoffman's is exceptional; Adam and Angela were very kind and showed us genuine compassion to our family, while making arrangements for our son. We were treated with respect and love, during such a devastating time. We decided to order a headstone through Hoffman's due to the wonderful care we received, however, the process turned out to be an emotional roller coaster; the ordering process was very smooth. We waited and waited and kept being told the stone was in the "Que" to be done, and paid in full at the time of purchase, however, we found out, the order was not fulfilled because money was never paid to the distributor. After waiting over 7 months, we demanded our money back and had to start the process over with another company. Our hope is no other family has to endure such heartache, during their grieving for loss of a loved one.

Hoffman was great to me when i needed it. Husband died of cancer. They were quick to pick him up at hospital. They were respectful to me and family. They r professional and take all the burden off of u in your time of need. Three family members buried by them. All great services. I want them to handle me on my demise.

This is our 3rd immediate family service at Hoffman in the last 2 years. Adam Shaffer has taken care of all 3. He takes care of every detail and is very professional. Adam is a huge asset to Hoffman Funeral Home and I highly recommend Hoffman Funeral Home and Adam Shaffer.

We cannot thank Adam and his team enough for their professionalism, patience, compassion and excellent care of our deceased and our family. The service in Carlisle and the burial in Arlington Cemetery was flawless. Thank you again for the fantastic job.
