Hofstra Esports is a club for all students interested in competitive video games. All types of games are welcome, and all levels of skill as well.

The purpose of this club is to promote eSports at the collegiate level. The term “Esports” refers to serious, but sportsmanlike, competitive video game play.
We have two main goals. One is to give students an environment where they can practice competitive video games with like-minded individuals, improving their skills while building friendhsips and social bonds. Students can join a team that can represent Hofstra in regional and national tournaments.
The second is to maintain our status as a successful local chapter of Tespa, which is the biggest collegiate eSports organization in North America. They provide a wide range of resources and support to help students who are compassionate about eSports and want to go into the video game development field. This is done by connecting students to local scholarship opportunities and networking with game publishers. As membership numbers grow, Tespa will provide us with various rewards, funding options, and resources to help maintain club growth. They also host the biggest collegiate eSports tournaments in North America, as well as conventions to train students in leadership. These conventions ensure that the club will always have strong leadership and be stable for years to come.
We strongly believe that this club will provide opportunities to students that are not commonly found at other universities.
