We decided to have our son's 11th birthday here at the last minute... It was an excellent experience! The staff was very kind. Cleanliness of the place was superb. The food was amazing & our son had a totally AWESOME birthday party!!!
Overall pretty good. Pros: Cheap beer. Decent bowling prices. Clean facility. The staff was friendly. Cons: The machines malfunctioned several times while we were there. To a point where they just moved us to a different lane.
This place used to be a bit nicer, the staff looked genuinely unpleased with everything, and our lane kept malfunctioning every other bowl. We were the burden to ask them to fix it, but I guess they gave us three extra minutes which we had to ask for, overall, very lackluster experience. The kids still had fun, I'm just not sure I enjoyed the day.
For everyone that doesn’t know hog pin is being closed down. The new owner is also the owner of red dirt is a total douche. They are taking away an awesome bowling alley that has been here a very long time. He has no respect for anyone. I hope he bottoms out and loses money on what he plans on turning this into.
We were in town welcoming my solider back home to the US. I think there is a lot of that in this town. The first guy running the bowling register had no personality, we joked with him and he did not crack a smile. Then there was a small girl with glasses working the register where food and sodas can be purchased who was so rude and unfriendly. She bowled just about the whole time we did and worked the register. Felt like we were bothering her when we ordered something. The bartender was a friendly guy, so was the other bearded fellow who was at the bowling register later in the afternoon. They need more people like those guys. People shouldn't be treated bad, especially military families from out of state. I give three stars because of those guys. Affordable bowling yes.
The main reason I'm giving 3 stars is because it's not very family friendly, especially if you have smaller children. Yes they have the dragon/dinosaur things that you use as ramps for little kids to bowl, and they have bumpers. However, the music was super loud, and there's a bar with pool tables that functions independently of the bowling alley. Not the kind of environment I want my kids in.
Was disappointed our lane kept getting stuck lane #1 6times. We payed for an hour and the clock was still going while it was stuck so I asked the worker if he could give us a few mins. So this jerk did even say anything just turns to the screen while busy eating. So i go back to the kids and he added 3 minutes I wanted to tell him to take his 3mins and shove them. We normally have a good time when we go up there but i guess he just got tired of me asking him to do his job and fix the lane....
Stop turn around before it is too late go somewhere else, it will be worth it. By far the worst bowling alley I have been to ever. They truly don’t know how to take care of their lanes. They don’t know how to oil their lanes and the machine doesn’t keep the right score. I hate to say it, but I threw a gutter ball and it said I knocked down 9 pins. As for the food, it was also very bad the chips where stale and the cheese tastes very bad. We have had their pizza before the last time I came here and it was good. I would not recommend that anyone go here if they have the option to go somewhere else. If possible I would try to go to Fort Sill to bowl.
Booked Hog Pin for a birthday party after reviewing the website however, those prices are not accurate, must call for current pricing. We ordered Pizza, fried pickles, burgers, and had pitchers of soda. Food was good and reasonable.
They need to fix their lanes. Revamp their food menu and update their website. When you go to bowl for an hour the sign says $24 but then the person charging us says $26. Website doesn't match what actually prices they charge. Their sign isn't even updated. We had to actually go to empty lanes to find a ball.
