They dont ever answer the phone. Good luck ever trying to get information from them. I guess this is a club i wont be joining, since i cant even talk to anyone.
I have been a member her for three years, since I and my sons got interested in trap shooting. It is an excellent club. They have three really nice voice activated trap fields, skeet field, plinking range, large bore range out to two hundred yards, and a couple of nice indoor pistol ranges. There are various pistol and rifle completion teams, and a wide variety of shooting and social events.
I can't believe that when I moved to another state which firearms were readily available, with just with a drivers license and a background check there would be no sportsman clubs. When I was a member of the Holbrook Sportsmen's Club I had the best times. There is so much to do there with the indoor, outdoor ranges and events they organized. I never met a member that I didn't like. It's another world there. For those who are looking for the best sportsmen's club look no further, you just found it.
Premier shooting club on the eastern seaboard. Archery shoots, organized. Steel Challenge shoots once a month.
Excellent selection of product with very knowledgeable group of men. As a woman and a novice to the sport, I was never treated as a beginner or less than a person. I felt very welcomes and never dismissed or rushed through the process.
My brother in law Jack takes me there on Wednesdays. The ppl are great, the ranges are terrific and the overall atmosphere is a pleasant feeling. I will join this club very soon. Thanks
People are friendly. Gun show was ok.. Nice spot though on the club side of this review. good set up with outdoor range being separate from expo building and indoor range. Accessible by personal vehicle. I like that. Side notegunshow: high prices, crowded, did like seeing cops everywhere though as they should be at events that deal in used firearms close to a city Can't get over your gun laws. Felt welcome until I picked up an unloaded ziptied firearm without an FID, thankfully an older fellow there filled me in on the fact that I couldn't even touch a gun at the live fire or cross a line until I had one. I don't even know what an FID is. I come from a semi free state not a prison state. Guess I'm spoiled being from Oregon. Son was really looking forward at 10 years old being able to shoot the latest in SIG and Mossberg firearms as we seem to have no gun manufacturers on our side of the States where the majority of them are sold and used. However since I do not have a concealed carry license any longer or a "federal ID" he missed out on that. I can pass a background check, be a fireman, police officer, firearms safety instructor, school teacher, park ranger... but ill be damned in Massachusetts if can be in the same room as a loaded gun. I did have a speeding ticket back in 2006... Guess I deserve to be treated as a criminal as I'm attempting to recreate with my son? Nothing against Holbrook Sportmens Club. Massachusetts however, is a joke if you trying to live as an American.
have been a member for awhile now ,all the members are very friendly and offer a good deal of knowledge if you have an issue or problem always have a good time when im over there wether shooting or just shooting the breeze.
Joined the club, or the click I should say. Constant emails to join work parties. have to work to get membership I think the cost of the membership is work enough. I want to shoot and socialize not have to do yard work at my house and my club.
A great private club that offers many amenities and activities.
