I recently attended a funeral for someone very dear to my heart at Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home in the spring. The staff was friendly and accommodating at all times. From the visitation to the funeral itself, they did a beautiful job in honoring our loved one. The professional and welcoming environment that they provide was comforting and I highly recommend their services to all.

I cannot express adequately in words how truly comforting it has been for our family having the folks from Holcombe-Fisher attend to our needs when first we lost my older brother and more recently my mother. Their attention to every detail, to every request was so very much appreciated. And a new generation at Holcomb-Fisher is continuing their long and excellent tradition of service. Over the past 40 plus years of my life all of our families funeral needs have been handled by Holcombe Fisher Funeral Home and we are so thankful. Much longer than that actually but that was before my time. From our own family, to friends and other acquaintances, any funeral that they take care of is handled with extreme care, respect, and grace. They surround you during your sad time with traditional values and a simplicity that is so appreciated - especially in a day and age where things like this can become over complicated and distract from the true meaning. You don’t feel like you are dealing with a ‘business’ - you feel like you are surround by the compassion of a family friend. Thank you for all you do and your continued commitment to those you serve. Holcombe Fisher’s family is the highest level of care you could ask for at your most emotional time.

Like other reviews, my experience with Holcomb Fisher would rate higher than five stars if it was possible. Every step, from first meeting them, to a standing room only service in their home like building, to the procession and arrival at the cemetery was conducted with extreme care and professionalism. They treated my dear husband and our family as if we were a member of theirs. They warmly greeted each guest. They had closed circuit tv in an overflow guest room, so everyone could clearly see and hear the service. As we followed the hearse, we shortly stopped a number of times so the following cars would drive together in the hour and a half drive from the funeral home to the cemetery. They were prepared to act as pall bearers if necessary. And Holcombe Fisher's personal purchase of a tree to memorialize my husband demonstrated that you are more than a customer to them.

Dealing with the passing of a loved one is difficult in all ways, dealing with an unexpected death compounds the struggle and sadness in so many different aspects. I couldn’t have made it through the planning, organizing and details without Holcombe-Fisher Funeral home. The kindness and compassion Jeff and the whole staff gave my family and I were a great comfort knowing our son/grandson/nephew were in the most capable hands possible. Thank you all.

Growing up in Flemington my whole life, you got to know the Fisher family. Eventually the time came to bury my mother Barbara and there was NO doubt that Holcomb-Fisher would be handling the services. I had no idea that Charlie, Mark, Jeff and Robert would be so important in taking care and directing me in the right direction to handle my moms estate. From certificates, to insurance they guided me flawlessly. Every phone call was returned by Charlie immediately. I cant thank the staff of Holcomb-Fisher funeral home enough.

During the tough times of losing a loved one, it was an absolute pleasure to be able to have Holcombe-Fisher by my side. Immediately you recognize that this family-run business treats you with the utmost respect and handles the process in a professional manner. From the location to the staff everything was extremely welcoming and you can feel they truly cared for everyone in attendance. I highly recommend and trust Holmcomb-Fisher.

Jeff Bogart and the staff were amazing. When my father in law suddenly passed in Florida our family reached out to Jeff and the Holecomb Fisher team. The stress of a loss in general much less one in another state is a lot to deal with. Worrying about how to get your loved one home from another state just adds more to an already stressful mix. Jeff and the team made everything so easy and smooth. They were in constant contact with our family, made all the arrangements with the hospital and funeral home in Florida and was even able to provide flight information as they brought my father in law to New Jersey. My father in law was a Vietnam vet and wanted a military funeral and burial. Having never had to arrange one we asked and Holecombe delivered providing two options and throughly explained the process. We ended up choosing Washington Crossing National Cemetery as his final resting place. Jeff and the team made all the arrangements with the Cemetery and explained the entire process. If your loved one is a veteran I highly recommend Washington Crossing National Cemetery for a dignified burial and ceremony for someone who served our country. Jeff and the Holecomb team even arranged the easiest procession to the cemetery even crossing the bridge they had traffic stopped which is a very hard feat to begin with. They are an amazing group truly concerned with making your loved ones passing a celebration of their life a dignified event while making sure that you are okay and have the time to say your final farewells.

My sister, RonnieLynn, passed recently after a long battle with cancer, and I can’t say enough about how Holcombe-Fisher went above and beyond during the entire course of her funeral. Needless to say, it was an emotional and exhausting day, but the Holcombe-Fisher employees were with us every step of the way, always there to help whenever we needed it. We didn’t have to worry about anything, for which we are extremely grateful. I especially want to thank Director Mark Whittaker, who helped run the funeral, organized the procession, and coordinated with the police and cemetery superintendent; Logistics Director Danny Cole, who took care of the parking lot arrangements, was in charge of the flowers, and drove the hearse; Terry O’Neill, who helped at the front door and assisted with flowers and photos; and Director Jeffrey Bogart, who also helped to orchestrate everything seamlessly. I also want to thank everybody at Holcombe-Fisher from the bottom of my heart for making Ronnie’s day special with dignity and respect. They were extremely professional and handled every situation perfectly and with kindness and compassion. I highly recommend Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, and if Google allowed me to do so, I would give it an even higher rating. They deserve more than five stars!
