We bought an expensive mattress from them and we were charged extra, for "service." We also purchased furniture from another store - four times more the matress charges - and we were not charged one cent for "service." This store also charged to deliver the mattress despite the high cost of the mattress. Avoid the store, or watch for their supposed "service" and other such charges.
I would recommend this business to anyone. They were friendly and accomodating,, eager to help in a friendly atmosphere. Also the people who delivered the recliner were friendly, knowledgeable and considerate in making sure we knew all about the mechanisms.
Stopped in today to buy a La-Z-Boy chair and this store was one of the few that actually had what we wanted in stock. They were great to deal with and the price was unbeatable. I'm sure we will be repeat customers!
We have never been to Holder's but we had seen a truck across the street delivering furniture and my wife brought them up when we were talking about a new recliner. We visited their store and were very pleased with the appearance and the selection of furniture. We purchased a recliner and talked with the owner 's and they are very nice people.
Extremely pleasant experience, they double checked to make sure the recliners we wanted were in stock. Two days later, the two young men removed our old loveseat and delivered our new furniture. Couldn't be more pleased!
I bought a beautiful living room piece from them almost three years ago. It had some mechanical problems happen recently and they honor their Lifetime Warranty with no hassle. Highly recommend this Family Business to anyone looking for quality furniture with great service.
We love this place. It is well worth the drive. The employees go the extra mile. We have bought couches, love seats, tables, rockers and mattresses. They staff behind their products and repair if something breaks!
Holder’s furniture is a great place to go to get quality furniture. Salesperson was very knowledgeable about the couch we decided on. Delivery people were very knowledgeable and polite. If you want furniture that lasts go to Holders.
I spent many, many years of my life in commissioned furniture sales and have worked for some of the finest retailers in Evansville. My wife and I found ourselves needing a new sofa and recliner.. We shopped Holders. Met the family and chatted as we shopped their store - purchased new sofa and recliner from a family member, not a commissioned salesperson, which was great. Never felt pressured or pushed into something we didn't need or want. This morning the furniture was delivered.. Coy and Mikey, the delivery men, were polite, knowledgeable and friendly. Did a great job. Did I mention price? You won't - you can't purchase furniture of this quality for less ANYWHERE in the tri-state. I know. Highly recommend. 5 Stars start to finish..
This is a nice place to go to look for unique furnishings. The staff are not too pushy, and are willing to help you find what you're looking for. They have a lot of furnishings to choose from, bedroom suits, dining room sets, kitchen tables, as well as family room sectionals. I believe they offer financing as well if you're in the market for that. I would recommend this store if you in the market for new furniture.
